So the last dream that I had actually brought this topic idea forth.
This dream was more like a video game trailer than anything else. In it, the song of choice was almost unique, though the style was very identical to Time's Scar from Chrono Cross. The world and plotline reminded me of a mix of both Final Fantasy 9 and Chrono Cross itself...and the battle style reminded me of a mix between Chrono Cross and the Tales Of series.
When I woke up, I thought how neat it would be to have a game in this day and age with those elements. Mix together Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 9's story, have C.C's large character lineup, 9's character development for those who aren't the main cast, 9's world (though C.C's parallel world on top of 9's Terra/Gaia), and a battle system that takes from the Tales series...but retains elements of Chrono Cross (which I actually enjoyed that system a bit).
It'd be an interesting game to see for sure, even though it's likely it'd never happen. Though it's one I'd love to see, to be honest.
If you could combine some of your favorite games into one that could be potentially better, what games would you choose? Would it be Legend of Zelda and Call of Duty? Megaman and Fallout? Diablo and Doom? The Sims and The Last of Us?
