Title
1. This shall be titled the Fundamental Laws Amendment IX - Protection of the Administrator Powers regarding the forum.

Amendments
2. Article VI, Section 5 of the Fundamental Laws shall be amended as follows:

5. The Winter Nomad and all subordinate administrative officials shall also be responsible for the maintenance, organization, security, and technological development of all official Wintreath properties. No government official or body shall be empowered to make decisions in any of these areas.

Is this really necessary? Government bodies are made up of government officials...

True, but this is to plug up any possible loopholes that Reon believes exists (See Here)

I'd actually rather not plug this loophole because the only time this is used is when someone wants to create a subforum for some law thing...
At which point Chanku tends to get huffy and that law ends up never happening EVEN if it had a good effect.

Well, for the record, the forum structure will never be based on legislation...the fact of the matter is, the Storting can't require the founder to do anything, and it doesn't have the ability to change the forums itself. This is standard for most if not all regions in NationStates, and...that's pretty much what it is.

Other than that, I have no desire to be involved in silly debates about semantics. We all know exactly what it means, and anyone that claims otherwise is being disingenuous.

I know its intent but most, if not all, of the bills that got stopped by this clause were fine bills... They hardly should have been shut down by this and weren't asking unreasonable things.

There's never a good reason to try going around administration...regional governments and founders/administrators are separated in most if not all regions for good reason.

Mmm, we'll see... As it stands I don't want to plug this loophole...

I would not vote Aye on this if it came to the UH.

Amusingly, I'm actually in favor of this, believe it or not.  I strongly agree with Wintermoot that the storting shouldn't attempt to try to go around the Administration, and there are going to be loopholes that someone will try to exploit in order to do just that.

In that regard, I think clarifying to avoid a possible catastrophe is a good idea, though I don't know what it is...but the wording of it feels a little off.
