I realize we just voted on a clearer definition for this section...however upon reading it carefully, it still has the same problem of being vague on what it means.

Title
1. This shall be titled the Procedural Rules Amendment XI

Amendments
2. Section 12e shall be amended to read as follows

The Speaker must select a Speaker Pro Tempore within 168 hours (seven days) of being elected. Should the Speaker fail to select a Speaker Pro Tempore then the Speaker Pro Tempore is the candidate that got the second most amount of votes, in the election of the Speaker; should there have been an election with more than one candidate then, in the event of a tie for second place, the Speaker must choose one of the candidates. If the speaker fails to do so the monarch is to choose a Speaker Pro Tempore out of the tied candidates. Furthermore should there have been no other candidates in the election of the speaker, then one will be chosen at random from the members of the Underhusen, excluding the Speaker.

This would close that vague interpretation and make it absolute.

I'm waiting to see what comes of Amendment XI.

Why are you waiting to see what happens on a bill centered around expediting?

A motion to vote has been made, do we have a second?

I motion to extend debate, or alternatively, for this bill's name to be changed to XI instead of XII, and when we eventually get around to the other XI, it should just be renamed XII.

Although I can also see that the naming would be annoying, particularly if XI doesn't pass... so I echo Laurentus sentiment that the names should be switched when this is moved to vote...

I planned on changing it anyways since this seems to be going ahead before XI is, so the motion passes, and this will be presented as Amendment XI...with the current one being changed to XII.
