The holidays (except for New Years) are over, but before we go back to the daily routine, why don't we reflect on the past season? What did you appreciate from the season, what gifts did you receive, and how do you plan on spending the last few days of the holidays?
For me, what I think I appreciated most was just the time away from everything...I scheduled seven days of vacation right before the college's winter vacation, which gave me a total of 23 days off (I'm on day 16 now). I took the time to get back on track with working out, reading, learning things...some of which I've applied here...worked on site features I'd thought about doing for a long time but didn't have the time to get into, explored a few new games, and spent a lot of time on my Minecraft Castle project. I felt like I squandered my Thanksgiving vacation, but I feel like I've really put this one to good use.
Besides that, spending time with my mom, lazying around the house, enjoying all the good food we had and enjoying just how festive all of our decorations were...it was really disappointing that we had and continue to have record heat, because to me cold weather and snow is just synonymous with the season, but I suppose if that's the only complaint I have then it wasn't too bad. Maybe we'll get cooler weather this week.

As for gifts, I didn't really get much, but that's not surprising since I'm not big into gifts...I got some clothes and a new hat from my mom, and
Endless Legend from one of my friends. Although I'm not into gift-giving all that much, I still appreciate them and enjoy them! So overall I enjoyed my slow and lazy holiday.
