Today is the last day of the period of national mourning. For anyone who is willing to watch, here's the link for the live coverage of the State Funeral of Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

I was asleep during that period...I'll check out some of the video later though.

Didn't they stick somebody in jail because he said "yeah Lee Kuan Yew was a dictator and I'm glad he's dead and Christians are stupid"?

His sentence hasn't been announced but yeah, rather highly publicized case regarding Amos Yee. Official reasons for arrest were posting obscenity and his hurtful remarks against Christianity. Can't say much about the first part since I didn't get to see his photoshopped image of Mr Lee and Margaret Thatcher engaging in a sexual act but for the second part, Singapore is usually very harsh on individuals making remarks that offend any religion or ethnic group.

I've read this. But I think Singapore's low levels of crime, corruption and general stability speak for itself. I like what I've read about Singapore's disciplined, meritocratic attitude.
