No WA nation.
3) Do you have nations in any other regions? If so, where? Realm of Unrestricted Science, primary Nation. Warhaven

4) Do you serve in any official roles in any other regions or organizations? If so, what are they? Member of the FoG braintrust as Warhaven, though sadly that RP seems to be all but dead.

5) Are you new to NationStates? no.

6) What timezone are you in? Time is an illusion of Entropy.

7) How did you find out about Wintreath? I know all. Also, Recruitment TG from Wintermoot.

Based on your answers, we will help you get involved in any aspect of the region that you are interested in! Indicating interest here does not commit you to joining any aspect of the region. You will be asked to sign up for relevant areas once you are a Citizen to confirm you still want to join it.

Hello. I've been around NS for quite awhile, and have seen tremendous doings in my time. Some of them, I might even have inspired things in my nation. Like the Shivan invasion, anyone remember that from several years ago? I do. Gods those things were scary.

It's great to have you here in Wintreath. For those who have an interest in roleplaying, I do hope that my brief introduction will be of use to you.

The Wintreath Chronicles: For those who are into the "Worldbuilding" segment, you will have a blast here! This subforum is dedicated to expanding the historical, geographical and cultural aspects of Wintreath, with topics ranging from describing notable landmarks within your individual nations or the region as a whole to creating a fictitious religion that originates from within the region. I am pretty sure there are many here who have put in lots of effort into creating a brilliant Factbook for your nation so why not share your masterpieces with your fellow Wintreans. Not to mention, you will be able to find like-minded individuals and their writing here.

The Wonderful World of Wintreath: For those who are into the casual/light roleplaying, this is the place for you! This subforum is dedicated to providing a platform for in-character interactions and conversations without a specific central plot. Everyone is welcomed to set up their own buildings. As of currently, we have a tavern, a resort, an orphanage and a cathedral. 

Roleplay Discussions and Proposals: Basically, this is the place for roleplay creators to gauge the interest level and decide whether or not they will go into the specifics and for potential roleplayers to ask any irresistible questions that will determine their involvement or lack there of. You will find me lurking there too.

Greetings, and welcome to Wintreath! I'm glad you decided to join and found our forums after our TG discussion! Of course, your Citizenship is approved.

I know you're a veteran of NS, but it may still do good to check out our guide for new nations as it has region-specific information to help you get started. The information Sapphiron posted about roleplays is good, and I would add Frostbite Tavern to the mix. It's a light RP and casual discussion area and I think it's a good way to start getting involved without really committing to anything. It's great to have someone interested in roleplays around. That's an area I hope will soon be more active.

I'll stop boring you now. If you have any questions or need help getting settled in, just ask!

I suppose we're diverse in that regard...there are some people that exclusively do in-character, like the changeling horde, and The Wonderful World of Wintreath is meant to be an in-character area, although some of us slip out of it out of habit. On the other hand, the discussion forums are usually OOC, but again, there are people that do IC everywhere.

I suppose the short answer is that it can be as IC or OOC as you want. I hope that answer helps!

Yes and No

The worldbuilding in the Wintreath Chronicles and the roleplays in the Wonderful World of Wintreath revolve around one large singular world where every nation in Wintreath regardless of tech can be a part of. The rest of the roleplays such as Mandate of Heaven, The Cursed Map and Chasing the American Dream are set in separate worlds according to the roleplay creators' preferences (much like Portal to the Multiverse in the Nationstates forum) so these "independent roleplays" have their tech level specified by the roleplay creators.
