Hey Everyone, I found this game because it was a college assignment for my cultural anthropology class to run a nation for 5 days. I like all sorts of gaming so now I'm growing more interested in what nation states has to offer. I'm not to sure what there is to do in this game but I'm willing to learn and will be an active player. Looking forward to learning and being an active part of the Wintreath community.

I think you're going to find that NationStates is slower-paced than a lot of the games you're familiar with. Most of the actual activity takes place on either the NS forums or the regional off-site forums like this, and most of the real game is community-based. I know that throws a lot of new people off...but if you stick around it can be rewarding.

I understand that it is slow paced, I guess I just want to learn all of the ins and outs with the game. I'm interested in a game like this since I can check in a few times a day and still be active with my busy schedule.
