1) Why are you running for this position?

Because I’m the incumbent and I want to keep dunking on nerds and having access to the Hot Goss. I also maybe like y’all and hosting games for y’all but don’t tell anybody.

2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected.

I would like to host another Dungeon Tourney, at least one more contest, and maintain Dungeon Master events and activity on the Discord as well as encourage the revival of certain forum games that may not get the same attention Werewolf does.

2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the last election? If not, why didn't you?

I would say I hit most of my goals- I knew that I likely wouldn’t succeed in the whole list, which is why I set stretch goals for myself rather than a definitive list. I am very satisfied with my time this Summer season, especially since we have been going through the dreaded Summer Lull. To go down the list, though:

> “Introduce at least one new game into the cycle of games”.

    - In my last term, I’ve personally introduced two new things into our cycle- Poker Chips and Salsa and Cursed Character Creator. My team has also been hard at work testing out new games, such as Catan, Risk, and Assassins. I’d say this goal was met and than some.

> “Another Dungeon Tourney”

    - No, this didn’t happen. I was disappointed that I didn’t manage to swing this, but I decided about halfway through the season that I’d rather wait for the Summer Lull to pass anyways.

> “New Dungeon Master”

    - Yes and no. Michi officially joined the ranks of the Dungeon Masters this season, but as the Jarl of Culture it’d be strange to discount his contributions to the DMs from before. I’m hoping with activity beginning to spark up again that I’ll be able to bring more fresh faces into the DMs.

> “Have an interregional game night”

    - One of our Dungeon Masters, TGN, did in fact host a game night with India (though timezones made that difficult!)

> Have a TTRPG night on the Discord

    - One of our Dungeon Masters, Chanku, did in fact do this- she hosted Thirsty Sword Lesbians for Pride Month!

> Introduce a leveling system

    - Smashed this- we have a full leveling and XP system for my ministry.

> Talk to the Hearthkeepers about a newbies night

    - Full disclosure, this didn’t happen. We weren’t getting enough newbies for me to justify giving this idea too much attention at the time. That said, I’d be willing to explore this or an alternative in the future.

3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?

I’ve been the Thane of Gaming for two seasons now and as I said last election, I’ve done pretty much everything under the sun in NS- Administration/Moderation, Head of State, Head of Government, FA, RA, Culture, etc. This position is my favorite of all the things I’ve done on NS because it’s so community centric, something I value above all else. If my time here these last six months hasn’t spoken for itself in terms of my capabilities then I need to seriously kick it up a notch!

4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election?

I’ve made it work this long, haven’t I? I keep a pretty solid schedule to ensure I have time for this and for the days I can’t swing hosting, I have a wonderful team at my side.

5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.

Nope, Wintreath has and keeps my attention. *hands the region a rose and winks*
