Yulaskein Quenchenstov yawned as he stretched awake. He stumbled out of bed, his wife still asleep. He looked at his alarm clock. It was 5:00 A.M. He couldn't look outside, cause when he did all he saw was the void of outer space.
Yulaskein ate his breakfast, an edible type of mineral, mined from the asteroid his starbase was orbiting. 30 minutes later, his wife awoke. "Good morning." She greeted him back, then ate her breakfast.
At 6:00, Yulaskein left the house, said goodbye to his 2 kids, then took the space tram to sector 2 of the starbase. He went to the hangar bay, boarded a shuttle, then waited for the ship to take off.
By 6:50, he had arrived at the asteroid mines, and was put to work, extracting a mineral, the same one that he had for breakfast. As he worked, he saw one miner sneaking some of the minerals he had extracted into his pocket, instead of sending them over to the manager. When another worker noticed this, he stitched to the manager.  
The snitch was carried off home, while the man, who just needed some extra food, was punished, with security beating him up and taking him away to a holding cell.

At 7:00, Yulaskein boarded the shuttle once more, this time to leave the asteroid. After arriving home, he sat down, had dinner with his family, and prayed to Sali, Ruria, and Iorma. After that, he goes to sleep.
