"Are you sure about this, Valen?" Valen Erienbarter IV put his hand on his flintlock. "I'm sure. His family will pay for my great great grandfather's defeat." Valen loaded the bullet in, as did his fellow conspirator. "Let's go."

As Tsar Rori addressed his military officers, he went one by one for orders of business. After what seemed like hours, Rori looked at Valen with an arched eyebrow. "And, Valen, you said you had something that was important?" Valen nodded. "Yes, something of importance. All I have to say is.. for Brestui." Valen, as well as a number of other officers,  pulled out pistols. Powder filled the room as loud cracks echoed through. Blood was now on the desk as Rori fell to the ground, shot twice in the stomach. All hell breaks loose. Guards dash into the room, and soon the meeting chambers were filled with gunpowder. Men bleed out as bayonets impale them. But then, a miracle. Rori gets up, bloodied, and fires into Valen's right knee.

The officers, or what's left of them, flee. Rori's wounds are attended, and he survives. But this was a single motion that plummeted the country into civil war.

Dremik Hedbrevin receives a letter from Rori. It only reads these words. "Willing to fight?"

  • The sky was green, everything was. There was no land, just a endless sea of water with a slightly browner tint. The only aroma that could be smelled was the strong scent of something rotting. Ultic Shiv barely keeping himself above water, but his attempts would prove futile as his body started to weigh more and more. As he was pulled underwater, he saw a eye open in the sky, at least 5 times larger then the moon. and a voice a young lady, uttering one word "Close."

Ultic woke up, checking his heart beat. He's use to the dreams now so it doesn't intimidate him as much anymore, he realized after a while the dreams are guiding him. He's getting closer to his destination and he knows from the dream. He went on the deck of the shit after getting dressed in his black robes and grabbing his weapons, a Falchion with a trigger on it and a grip guard, and a flintlock with 6 rotating barrels. He see's the coast of Joslisonoria, forcing a smile on his face. As soon as the ship arrives to the docks, he would spend the next 5 days on a trek to Pearlsee, spreading the word of Kallith on the way there.

As the ship enters the harbor, several armed escorts are waiting there. One of them seems to be an officer. Although his hood is up, they can make out a third eye on his forehead, and his left arm is one of complete and darkened steel, with elaborate engravings made on it. He tries to walk by the officers. The officer extends a hand out to Ultik. "Good day, Ultik, is it?" Ultik looks at the officer dead in the eye. ". . . Yes." The officer smiles slightly."Ah, then I am not mistaken. Unfortunately, situations in Joslisonoria currently desire that you be escorted. The Tsar is very interested in you, and would not like to see you in danger." "Why is that?", Ultik asks. "Well as for the situation.. a recent conflict has occurred and not to alarm you but, entire battles could happen." "Why does the Tsar want me?" "He's very interested in your religion. He'd in fact like to experiment with new religions in Joslisonoria." Ultik hears ever so faint whispering, although incoherent, he knows this must be the right path, although suspicious. "You lead the way." The officer nods. "Oh, by the way, you can call me Gendon." He leads Ultik to a carriage with a horse drawn cart behind it where the soldiers pile in. Ultik and Gendon enter the carriage and ride for a couple hours. Ultik stayed completely silent for the entire Carriage trip. At sunset, they arrive in a small village known as Drendill. "This is where we'll spend the night." "Do you know where the tavern is?" He asks Gendon. Gendon nods. "It's where we're going." The carriage pulls to a stop at a building with a sign that reads "Drendill Tavern and Inn". He walks in and makes him realize why he regrets have a mastery in all five senses, the inn smell like shit. He sits at the counter and orders some ale, reaching into a sack and dropping on the table a couple coins. The rest of the night is uneventful. On the morrow, however, Ultik is awoken to discover him hearing gunshots.
