Decree 005 of the Monarch of WintreathRegarding the Royal Family and the NobilitySeveral months ago, I made a decree concerning familial houses, with the promise that families whose members have contributed to the region and been loyal to the Monarchy would be able to become a Noble House and join the regional nobility. However, that decree left questions unanswered and incomplete...just what is the nobility, how would one join it, and what would one get out of it? This decree answers that question and for now completes the system of familial houses. I'm also taking the opportunity to clearly define the titles of the Royal Family as well, so that if and when we adopt into it it will be clear to everybody what roles, if any, they will be taking on.
Familial houses have been one of the most popular things to take root in our region. I hope that this decree will whet our Citizens' appetites for more in that area.

These positions shall hold a rank equivalent to Knight, and may be revoked by either a Jarl of the same ministry whose Jarl granted it, or the Monarch.
Conferment of Titles7) Upon the conference of a title of nobility or titled gentry, the person conferring the title shall make a public announcement specifying the reasons for conferring the title as well as any additional awards, grants, or privileges if the position allows for them as defined within this decree.
