    Rejoice! The Chinese government will no longer be able to track your hookups! :P

    The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States has pressured Beijing Kunlun Tech, which bought the service in 2016, into looking for a buyer for grindr. A reason for this was not given, but it's speculated that it was due to concerns that the Chinese government could access the data to track military or intelligence personnel that use the app. Personally, I think it would also be concerning for LGBTQ+ folks in China that use the app, if they're even allowed to.

    Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in serious discussion, but I thought it was interesting news.
