Now that I have your attention, I'd like to talk about a few things.
Firstly, did anyone catch that game last night? Man, that was awesome, wasn't it? I mean the way that team basically trounced the other team, that was pretty sweet. There were a few moments where I was almost in tears because it was just so beautiful.
Speaking of that, I saw an awesome movie last weekend. My favorite part was when the characters did that thing, and the bad guy was all shocked and rebutted by doing their own thing, but the good guys turned around and did something else and WON! Like, wow, I really wasn't expecting them to actually win. I definitely see it getting some oscar buzz for some exceptional performances by the cast.
I've also been playing some really great games. This one game, I'm at the part where the character is having an emotional breakthrough, but the bad guy is coming in and attempting to tear that character back down to their original level. But the main character isn't having it, and they're getting ready to storm the final area, beat the final boss, and beat the game.
Overall, there's some pretty awesome stuff going on.
Now, I could be a bit more descriptive, right? I mean, that's what people normally want...a descriptive post, or a campaign detailing every inch of what a candidate promises as well as why they're overqualified for the job. I could do that, but how many campaigns including mine in the past have had lists of detailed promises that weren't followed through with? How many have boasted about their experience, only for their run to be inactive?
My point is, there's a time and a place for that, and promises can only get one so far if there's no follow through. What I
can promise is that I will try to be active, that I will listen to input from you guys, and that I will try to put my best effort forward to helping with an active and busy Underhusen as I have done multiple times when I was elected in the past.
I'm not going to promise specifics, because there have been times where I've done that in the past and it didn't get followed through with, as have other candidates. But I will promise that I will try to be the best that I can be and be the Skrifa that you deserve.
