I did not see that.

It explicitly says candidates are defined by the Monarch. He listed the eligible names at the start of the election, and afterwards he explicitly said that "changing your name to Abstain doesn't entitle you to those votes".

Ye, twas a joke, I honestly didn't expect to win. I was hoping I could but I'm glad the candidates that could have, did.
