Topics from the spam forum are no longer shown on the recent topics page by default.

The idea is to make it easier for people, especially perspective members who are evaluating the community, to find discussions and conversations without having to go through spam topics. Of course, if you want to view the spam topics on your recent topics page, all you have to do is hit the gear on the top-right of the recent topics area and uncheck the 'Exclude Spam Forums?' option.
