As usual, you are allowed to nominate any games that you feel your other fellow Wintreans should try out, as long as they are accessible to most of us. Such games include classic games (eg. GBA , PS1, N64, Dreamcast), flash/java/web games (kongregate.com), free MMO games (onRPG), mobile games and PC games that are easily obtainable. Also, please keep it legal if any of the nominated games have a price tag (aka no illegal downloading).

So, I will be nominating Risk. Risk, both the original board game as well as its online variations, has always been one of my favorites. I have always found the blending of luck and tactics, accompanied by occasional diplomacy that can drastically change the tides of war, to be particularly thrilling.

I'll be nominating Costume Quest in honor of Halloween coming up.  It's fairly cheap, being roughly $14.99 plus tax (except on playstation since there's no tax).  And it's available on Ps3 (the sequel is on both ps3 and 4), 360, and through Steam.

It's basically an amusing little rpg type of game where you play as a kid, and you battle orc-like creatures known as grubbins.  When you battle, you take the form of the costume that you're wearing...which can range from a robot to the statue of liberty to a wizard and so forth.

The games are fairly short but sweet (pun intended), so they don't take exceptional investment.

I'm going to nominate a game that I've been getting into recently, TF2. While it may not appeal to all of Wintreath, it still is fun just to go on, play one of the many game modes, and just play as you like. This game came out in 2007, and is still popular to many. To me, that is one big feat for a video game.

I'm going to nominate SC2VN...it's one of the best visual novels I've played, and the only one that I know of that has tackled (much less succeeded at) esports and the culture around it. The game makes the topic accessible even to people that don't know anything about Starcraft or e-sports, and best of all is that it's free.

I'm going to nominate Kerbal Space Program.  I recently have been getting back into it, and I can say that it's been updated A LOT since I first got it

I nominate Dwarf Fortress, again.
No matter what happens, I do plan to start a community fortress some time in the near future(I play the game and give updates, you people can become dwarves and RP off of what I give you guys) so it would be nice to do this while being Game of the Month
