Now that Pengu is elaborating on his idea, I'm somewhat warming up to it.

However, I do see what I feel are some issues. In the Establishment of Setting post, Weissreich makes a few disclaimers:

Before I begin I'd like to note that this is an entirely independent project that I alone will be working on to start with. Although there's potential here for involvement of additional members of the community, unless otherwise stated the setting that I'll be establishing is entirely for roleplay purposes.
Aim: Wintreath as a region has a history spanning some 5,000 years - according to me. Whilst I cannot hope to detail them in their entirety, I'm hoping to provide a framework with enough 'colour' for anyone to base an RP on or in.

Also note that this interpretation of Spiritus is my own - I hold no ill will towards that region nor any of its citizens, but as part of Wintreath's founding it did indeed play a role and as such I have replicated that here. I hope no one takes offence!

I think it's pretty clear that Weissreich's project was never meant to be an official or canonical one, but rather is a purely independent undertaking. So I fear that having the Storting dictate cultural and legal norms in Weissreich's universe may not be a good idea, particularly if Skrifa are disinclined to familiarize themselves with his setting.

Of course, if Weissreich agrees with Pengu's idea, my point is moot.

@Weissreich (sorry for double post, but I just realized that he's integral to this idea and forgot to mention him in my earlier post)

I rather like the idea as well...the question in my mind is, is it something that's best taken by the existing Storting, or would an "in-game" government inside the WWoW work better? Technically it's not just Weissreich's stuff that's in it, but the family adoption thing, Aubrey's bar, etc etc. It's a place where people interact...we can definitely expand on those things, I think.
