OOC: Ok, I don't know if I'm doing this right, but nobody else is roleplaying so I'll bite. Sorry for giving you an IC mental lashing @North, but I was the first of us to get started. xD

* Wintermoot is sitting on the ground somewhere in the general area of where a staircase might be later...

That is if North ever shows up! We were supposed to meet up to start getting a staircase going, but he's late. I've used the time to imagine what a staircase might look like, with the central column going into the ground and hallways branching out on the various floors. Still, it feels like I've been waiting a week and he hasn't shown...probably forgot, or got 'busy' lounging or sleeping at the stockpile when there's work to be done. That is if he's not drinking the last of the booze that we brought with us. He has his strengths and talents, but I know from our time together that eagerness to work isn't one of them.

Still, perhaps this expedition will spark an eagerness in him. The thought of going to a new place and building a prosperous, strong home with our own hands is an exciting idea! Who wouldn't want to make their mark on a future center of Dwarven civilization, especially a miner? I suppose that I should go back to the stockpile and look for him. Maybe I'll have a strong drink while I'm at it...you know, in case we're in danger of running out!

* Wintermoot gets up and walks back toward the stockpile to find North

North knew that he'd forgotten something and when he saw Wintermoot bearing down on him it came flooding back. Putting down his mug of ale, he got up and slowly began to limber up. For as long as he could remember, which isn't very long admittedly, Wintermoot had been working with him back at the Bridge of Plunging. When they heard about this place, they both jumped at the opportunity to do something important. "Well, time to face the music, North." he thought to himself. Then again, you could never really tell what Wintermoot was thinking underneath that slightly wrinkled face.

"I know, I'm sorry, I forgot but cut me a break, I am a 74 year old dwarf!" North began as Wintermoot finally reached him.   

Starting on the new update! Just wrote the first few paragraphs. Nothing much has happened yet though. Only about 2 months in, going to go play now.
