While we're trying to set up Paradox bashes over here, why not set up one for HoI IV?

The AI doesn't look too awesome at launch so multiplayer will be a funner way to play this.

Kinda rare that I hear that about a Paradox game...but I haven't really played Hearts of Iron.

Yeah, that's among the problems it has. It's too sandboxy and easy.

More than that, though, the core game is flawed in too many aspects. Political mana, war mana, absolutely trivial political system, heavily abstracted economy to the point where it makes no sense, national focus trees are too shallow and easily completed, research tree is shallow, minors are overpowered as fuck because Paradox doesn't want anybody to be a loser, and so on and so forth.

I'm not even counting the problems that are fixable like the absolutely retarded AI. EUIV AI at release was fucking bad but nowhere near as terrible as this.

More than even Stellaris I got the impression that the base HoI game is made solely to sell DLC. It's a DLC platform. This is beyond streamlining and into the dumbing down territory.
