Openings for ambassadors to the region of Osiris is available!

What does an Ambassador do?
Ambassadors are the links between our region and other regional communities. They check up on our embassies and consulates in their assigned regions once in awhile, post releases to their embassies, and return any information that concerns Wintrean interests or is relevant in any other way. Being an ambassador is not a major time commitment, but you will need to be willing and able to register on your assigned region's forum and check up on our embassies there a few times a week.

Usually preference is given to new ambassadors and those with fewer assignments, but due to the peculiar history between Wintreath and Osiris, preference for this assignment will be given to those with ambassador experience who can be tactful and resolute when situations call for either/both. Well, I suppose since I have FA experience under my belt, it would not be entirely unreasonable for me to throw my name in for consideration. Plus I think I might already have an account on their forum if it's the same one they'd used prior.

Add my name since I wouldn't mind tackling Osiris.  I've dealt with regions like it before, and I wouldn't mind taking it on.

What would this entail, because it's a GCR?  I haven't interacted with GCRs much...

There's actually not a lot of difference between being an ambassador to a UCR or GCR, to be honest. Some people in gameplay will tell you that GCRs are more important and thus need more experienced ambassadors to them, but I've not found that to be the case...in general the GCRs are way overhyped in gameplay, if you ask me.

However, Osiris is a different story because of the past between our regions. When the OFO overthrew the Kemetic Republic, we refused to recognize that government for over a year, and there has been intermittent hostility between us in the past, mostly on their part. So we need an ambassador that can both forceful and tactful when the situation calls for either or both, just because we don't know what we're getting into. I considered taking it myself, but considering their Pharaoh is persona non grata in Wintreath I figured it would be in bad taste for me to go over there. However, I think @Pengu is just the right person for the job here.
