What I personally always wanted guilds to become were groups that took up maintenence of certain areas...for example, the RP guild would look into how to expand roleplaying, make it easier to get into/more welcoming, promoting RP as something to do in the region, working with new rp creators to get things going, and working with me to make the website more RP-friendly. The recruitment guild would not just recruit, but maintain the recruitment message and discuss the best ways to get people here in the region...and so forth and so on. It's not really supposed to be a group of people that just do certain tasks...at least how I envisioned it. It's just very hard to get much movement on anything if everything is left to the Cabinet...or to me...and that's why I wanted guilds to succeed.
I would personally like to re-integrate the guild forums into one area (either within the Civil Service or as a replacement to the Civil Service), but we're not there just yet. In some ways it makes sense for the RP guild to be with the other guild, but in other ways it makes sense for the RPs to be with the RPs, for example...I'd like to figure out that conundrum, and get some other guilds goings (one for ambassadors especially, since there are many ambassador topics in the Civil Service).
