A Most Noble Greetings to Everyone Here

It is such a pleasure to be here in on this fine day and introduce myself to you all. As some may know I come representing the region Illuminati in all its glory. I come also to learn more about the other regions of the world, meet other people, and generally enhance my experiences in this world.

A bit about me, I have played NationStates since 2005. Unlike other players who try to make their nation old, I tend to view the nation itself as a shell, of which I move from shell to shell as I grow. Naturally, there are a host of other nations I have used over the years at home in Illuminati, but Rhyphix is my longest nation. These days I play NationStates after work. I am a site supervisor for a coal mining company that allows me to travel extensively for work.

My experience in NationStates has largly revolved around the region Illuminati, though some may know me from when GNN News was popular in 2008 and the first half of 2009. At current, we are rebuilding Illuminati into a respectable and competitive region, as well as rebuilding the Global News Network to the same scale as it was before.

I do hope my experiences here are good, and will even consider Dual Citizenship, if it is permitted here, though my loyalties have always lied primarily with Illuminati and under its Eternal flag.

Our region has always been exceptional in foreign relations and foreign affairs, even though we opt for an 'extreme neutrality' policy. I do hope my time here is enjoyable as I get to know you all on a more professional and intellectual scale. I do hope that someone here opts to be an ambassador within our region. We do permit Dual Citizenship, and anyone with 20 forum posts on our Illuminati Society Forum is eligable for Citizenship and government offices of all types.

Greetings, and welcome to the region! I'm Wintermoot, and I'm the Monarch and Founder of this region...it's nice to meet you! It's very interesting to have someone that's been involved in NationStates for such a long time...we have very few people here who have been playing more than a few years. I'm probably one of the oldest...been playing since January 2013. I hope that your experiences here in the region are good as well! Feel free to contact me if you run into any problems or need any help here.

Seeing that you're coming to represent a region, something you may consider is applying for embassies and ambassador status. The form for doing so is here.

As an aside, do you worry about the security of your job? I live in West Virginia, and coal mines are going out of business and laying off people almost every day it seems. It's not an industry I would feel secure having a job in, for sure.

Yeah, the coal industry isn't doing so hot right now. But I go where the money's at basically.  I worked in WV for the last two years before they transferred me here. I'll be applying for ambassaforship, in due time, right now im just sort of checking things out.

We in Illuminati compiled a massive lists of regions with offsite forumc, which is how I found your region.  We hope to use it to deliver news from around NS.

Well, from what I've seen, I doubt you'll have to worry about being transferred back to WV...the money is not here, and it won't be for a long time.

That's quite an impressive list of regions...it must have taken some time to compile it.
