Greetings Wintreath from NUK!
It has been a busy few months in NUK, to say the least! We've had a general election, with Prime Minister Jasper Harrison being elected to lead the region. We've formed a mayoral assembly for London which is showing promising signs of getting running under the new leadership of Jacob Montreux and we've recently signed a treaty with NSUK to recognise the long-standing friendship between our two regions. And that's just in IC politics!
We've also created a new frontier, Emmeria, to help with regional growth which is showing some promising early signs and also now gives us the title of "Biggest Anglosphere Region on NS" (by a technicality, hehe).
However, it's on that note that I might as well announce that NUK is now planning to move away from from the Anglosphere on NS - Foreign Affairs-wise - due to the near constant drama which surrounds this corner of NS, which is something we believe holds NUK back from growing to its full potential and flourishing. We still will very much recognise our beginnings as an Anglospheric region and continue to operate IC-wise like the British system but this marks a new step for NUK in their venture to achieve bigger and better things.

Lastly, let's finish with the interesting bit - shall we? NUK has recently had a scandal rock the region to its core with many members threatening to leave throughout. Three members of the region (who shall remain nameless) plotted "Operation Fallen Crown", an elaborate plan to control every aspect of the NUK political system - the commons, the lords, the judiciary, all... Or, in other words, they straight up copied Averra - how unoriginal! Long story short, after a not-so-lengthy court case, the members were convicted for their crimes and the ring-leader was banned. They then tried to appeal their ban but, despite it failing to reach the courts on legality reasons, many members threatened to leave if they returned. Thankfully the situation resolved itself but this was a turbulent time in NUK history.
We look forward to growing our relationship with Wintreath further and please do not hesitate to contact myself or Realize - our FA minister - if you need anything.
Have a great day... : )
