Greetings fellow Wintreathians.

To keep the game alive, I'm going to make an unusual move here.  Since Laurentus has some pretty set ideas for his game using the voted theme, we're going to keep that for Laurentus when he hosts again.

To keep the ball rolling, however, I'm going to host another Werewolf game...but this one will be with a little twist.  In keeping with the upcoming Choose Your Own Adventure, I'll be hosting Werewolf VI: Choose Your Own Werewolf.  In this game, you'll make more than just decisions on who you think is the bad guy...but you'll be the ones choosing the bad guys!  You'll be the ones deciding everything as the game progresses and making the game turn on its head in many different possible directions.  Where will the game take place?  What roles will be in the game?  How many wolves will you face?  Who will make it out alive?  For the first time, all the decisions will fall to you, the players.

I'm confuse now.

It sounds confusing from a distance, but it's actually not up close.    When I say you'll be making decisions on things, I never said that you'd actually know in detail everything that you'd have to make decisions for...roles for example. 

That just makes me even more confused.

I move that we have zero wolves in this game.

Let's put it this way:

I'll have a list of pretty much every role I can think of for a werewolf game, with a number of wolves and citizens/villagers mixed in.  But, much like a good guessing game, you won't know what those roles are going to be, because they're going to be hidden behind something like a number.

At the start, everyone is going to choose something like that number, and the role that is behind that number is the role they'd be assigned.

That way, it's not the host randomizing what everyone's role is, but it's the players themselves taking it into their own hands.

For example, this is how it might look on my end:

1 - Werewolf
2 - Seer
3 - Villager
4- Villager
5 - Werewolf
6 - Guardian
7 - Werewolf
8 - Villager
9 - Villager
10 - Villager
11 - Guardian
12 - Villager
13 - Villager
14 - Werewolf
15 - Assassin
16 - Villager
17 - Werewolf
18 - Seer
19 - Guardian
20 - Villager

And so on and so forth.  On your end, all you'd be told is that each of you would have to pick a number (though I might make it different for the actual game).  And once you picked your number, you'd receive a PM with your role.  So signups would have that new little twist to them.
