Happy Holidays from Wintreath!

Greetings, nations of Wintreath!

I hope that all of you are enjoying a happy holiday season and that you're looking forward to the new year, both here in Wintreath and out there in "real" life. In the past year, we've grown by leaps and bounds in almost all areas...as I write this, we're the 26th largest region in NationStates, we have one of the most active regional forums in the game thanks to a resurgence of roleplaying, and we even made a Facebook page for those that would rather get their regional news on there. We celebrated our second anniversary in October, yet we're still experimenting with new things to make the region work better. We reformed the judicial system, we're in the process of discussing an overhaul in the regional legislature, and we're testing a guild system that allow groups of people to come together to get and keep things going in the region, such as our highly successful roleplay guild.

2015 has been a great year for Wintreath. I'm very proud to be leading this region as your Monarch and Founder, and I hope that 2016 will be just as good to us if not even better! Of course, these successes would not be possible without a community of great people and nations, such as you, and I hope that you will remain with us and remain a part of what makes this a great region. As always, if you have any thing you'd like to discuss about the region...ideas, suggestions, concerns, praise, or even just your thoughts, I'm happy to hear them. My door is always open.
