  • Hello, I'm Bodobol, and this is my first time running for a legislative position in... actually, come to think of it, this is my first time. I've served on legislative bodies before, but never as an elected position.

I support the destruction of the UH, but I haven't entirely given up on it. If, in the course of my tenure, I find I consider reformation or other alteration to be preferable, my position may change. For now, though, burn the Underhusen! Summarily execute the bourgeois legislators!

I vehemently support continuing and expanding the Guilds system, and believe it can more than sufficiently fill the activity gap left by the UH's destruction. It reminds me of the Districts system in the People's Republic of Lazarus, back when that was the government. Although the region later fell into inactivity for an unrelated reason, they were by far the most active part of the forums and provided plenty of opportunity for new members. I believe our Guilds can be similarly successful, and they currently show lots of potential.

I'm not too sure of what else to say, so I'll hang around and answer questions. Thanks for your time!

  • As someone that's been a part of other regions before and I'm assuming has witnessed other legislatures, what do you feel is the issue with ours? Is this sort of inactivity common in other legislatures, or are they focused in areas that ours isn't?

  • It's a common issue; most legislatures I've seen were either inactive or only passing laws for the sake of passing laws. I think the inactivity is exacerbated in Wintreath because we aren't much of a political region, which makes the legislature even less active as they don't have as many issues to confront.

  • As Gerrick has also said in his thread, I don't really have much else to say here but I'm open to any questions. Best of luck to him, I agree that we share similar viewpoints and I think he's a magnificent candidate. :)
