Hello fellow members of the Underhusen!  I think that we can probably resume our session now that we are once again a full Underhusen. (Welcome @Crushita !) @Reon you had some ideas that were interesting, do you want to explain them in further detail to everyone?

I think so.  Might as well discuss them... we don't appear do be doing many other things at the moment.

Or do you have other ideas, too? 

I mean I have other ideas but they're your boring old "fix the underhusen by implementing invariably broken legislation" type of idea so not worth much...
But yeah I mean... Dismantling the underhusen... It was my campaign... We're a useless and terrible bureaucracy that's voted in by sheer popularity that repeats itself every turn and works against the idea of culture, growth, and non-politics that this region was founded on so... You know...
I'd love to disband us...

I must say that I'm not popular at all, yet I somehow managed to get voted in twice. If the system is as you say it is, I pulled off two miracles.

We should probably remain somewhat active here even if we do have the constitutional convention going.  There should definitely be at least one or two posts per day at least about the proposals that are put forward in the constitutional convention. 

Personally, I think that the Guild thing that Laurentus talked about or Emoticonus' proposal about the Underhusen being something to be able to get into after a certain amount of activity in the community or something are the most viable, I think.  Thoughts everyone?

I really like the Guild idea as an activity and an advancement place...
With the disbanding of the Storting we can truly empower jarls and the monarch to do quicker and more effective actions in almost all areas which could really advance us forward culturally rather than as a political region which is something our region is founded upon and some thing Wintermoot and I both deeply believe in...

The Underhusen should maybe consider the number of seats for next term, too.

I honestly like the Guilds idea best.

If we are to have a UH for another term, perhaps make it 4 seats?

I think the UH could probably stick with five for now... otherwise ties are a thing, and ties really aren't great on things. 

So could we make legislation to create sorts of guilds?  Perhaps we could integrate that with the family house thing maybe?  Or does the Underhusen have that authority?

I am legitimately surprised to find that the SPT was not empowered, nor were very many discussions had during my absence... I realise there was a convention going on over the very fate of this chamber... but surely that would not stop essentially all activity, I must therefore conclude this is my failure as a speaker particularly with my extremely shoddy activity...

Well, with that out in the air I guess, I am also going to create a discussion topic on how many seats should be on next terms Underhusen.

I assumed your absence was only temporary, and I was correct.  Also, I don't really like the idea of seizing power in a hostile takeover, especially considering that I would have no idea what to do with it.  ;]
