Since many of us agree that the core issue is a lack for things for a legislature to do, I thought it would be beneficial if we discussed the problem and attempted to determine things a legislature could take part in. Technically, the Storting has a broad, if ambiguous, range of authority...basically anything not specifically granted to the Monarchy or protected by the Declaration of Rights. However, if we could come up with specific areas and topics that it should have primary authority in, that might help the Storting in whichever shape it takes...even if ultimately nothing comes of this Convention.

Maybe if we could pass legislature about creating departments for parts of the forum and continue to pass legislature to fix problems and make adjustments. I understand there's the Riksråd, but those are permanent positions appointed by the monarch. There's also the problem of overcomplicating things and adding red tape, but it gives the UH something to do.

What would creating departments solve when it comes to legislation?

As one of the current Skrifa, you're already not continuing "to fix problems and make adjustments."

It was an idea. I even tried to convey there were problems with it. At least I gave an idea for others to work on.

Honestly, I dont see much of a problem. Its not like the lack of legislature is a terribly important issue, is it?

I don't guess it is...but is anything revolving around a virtual government for an online game terribly important?

It makes you question the point of having one, though. Especially since anyone who's served on it ends up hating it, unless they get a fix from pointless bickering.

What about an RP that Wintermoot suggested? You'd RP to be a politician. Wintermoot would have to elaborate on it though.
