1. This shall be titled the Seating Act of The Eleventh Session of The Underhusen.

2. The Eleventh session of the Underhusen shall be composed of four (4) seats.

After much consideration, I believe that due to the Summer Lull, the UH will not be able to function efficiently with 5 members. The last session has led me to believe that the Underhusen will not fair much better regarding activity if we maintain the same amount of members as previously had. Keeping in mind that, for the first time ever, the Speaker Pro Tempore had to be empowered by the Underhusen itself, I believe that the Underhusen would function best at this time with three members.

@Laurentus, @HannahB, @tatte & @Aragonn, I believe this needs to happen and our term ends very soon. So we need to get this done as soon as possible.

It's actually four members minimum not three...three is for the OH.

Three is such a low number, and unless stated in an amendment, the lowest amount of seats the UH can have is four. Granted, having four could result in ties, I don't want to be breaking any rules.

I admit it was hastily put together and in that haste I made an error, heh. The act has been modified appropiately.

I would like to motion to expedite. Do I get a second?

No, the Law section is outdated. Please read the one in the forum for the most up-to-date version.

The motion passes. A question, though. What options are open to us to get the number of seats reduced to three?

Also, if there are none, I guess I'm willing to stand again, though I'd like Emoticonius to be the Speaker if that happens and I get re-elected.

The option to lower the seats to three is to write up an amendment to the fundamental laws.
