Ugh, had a panic attack in bed. My sight is still woozy.

Today is the September weekend here in Glasgow, that means most people are off work and school.

There is a big market set up along one of the main pedestrianised streets, the market stretches all the way along it and the street is packed. The stalls are mainly international, most of which fly a flag from their home country, I really like it, it's normally hard to find a place that does fresh Sushi next to someone who makes French Crêpes, next to an Indian curry stall.

So I have been out today buying nik-naks and trying out new foods it's been fun!

Is there a South African stall? You should try some crocodile, kudu, ostrich and buffalo meat, along with boerewors and pap-en-sous. Ask for Mrs. Balls Chuntney along with that. That's assuming there is a South African stall, of course.

Today my day is meh.  Someone needs to fucking hire me already.

So my day today, while not a bad day (as nothing "bad" happened) has been exceedingly tiring at least for me...

So I got up for Uni at 8:00 as usual, though messed about laying in bed for longer than I needed to be, and Uni lasted until 17:00, all is usual there, I did spend the last hour or so in personal study but that was OK.

Then afterwords I have an extra-curricular class at 17:30, so I had to go straight there, that lasted 2 hours and finished at 19:00... then I went straight out to work, which only finished at 23:00.

I have had days like this before, and I am sure it isn't that uncommon, but due to scheduling issues I haven't had any dinner ... and just generally feel extra drained from when this has happened other times...

My day is only a couple of hours old, I haven't gone to bed yet, but I really don't know if it's starting on a good or bad note. 

Good: I left my hallmate's dorm room literally seconds before the on-duty RA's showed up to tell them to turn down their music.

Bad: A bunch of my hallmates got busted for alcohol, and had I been there, it wouldn't have mattered that I hadn't touched a drop.

I literally said, "Excuse me" to the one RA as I left the room because I was leaving as he was coming in. And he didn't stop me, because he hadn't seen the vodka yet. Or the whiskey. Or the scotch.

Anyway, that's now two strikes for my hall.  More unfortunately, this could mean saying goodbye to our D'Lion (a sophomore that lives on our hall to run hall events and spread school spirit).  He was in the room, and actually the one who suggested smashed Smash completely unaware of the alcohol and hasn't interacted with any of us since Orientation. 

NOTE: While I'm typing this, I can hear mildly inebriated hallmates walking by.  To make matters worse, we managed to wake up our own RA by bekng too loud, so we have no friends to bail us out of this one.

Your college sounds no fun. At ours, people start wondering what's wrong with you if you DON'T drink, even in the dorms.

When I was in high school I was part of this organization that got everyone together statewide from it and spent a week at the state college. The first year I did this, the guys and girls were placed in seperate dorm buildings that faced each other, with the room I was sharing with another guy being the best view of the other buildiing. Within...two days, everyone got in trouble because all the guys were in our room convincing the girls to strip and flash them in front of their windows. Someone reported it, and after that it was required that the curtains be closed at all times, lol.

Actually, I was like the only guy not really interested in that...I'm kinda surprised nobody questioned me about it, especially after my roommate might have caught me starting at the bulge in his boxers one morning...but they were all really cool. It's the closest I've come to a true college experience, though I attended community college and did online classes through other colleges later on.
