It's only an issue if YOU make it an issue.  Do you see where I'm getting at here?

You may have this ingrained dislike for Govindia and everything he says because of your past disputes, but you're still fully capable of leaving those at the door and being civil with him.

All I'm saying is stop having this schoolyard fight and be cool with each other.  That doesn't mean that you have to sit together at lunch and push each other on the swings at recess, it just means that you need to stop giving each other the dagger glare and maybe even just say "hi" when you pass each other in the hallways.

You may end up working together as part of the same team, and the best team can only operate well when all of its members work together.

And yes, I do love metaphors.  Leave me alone.
