I applied to the WA with my nation, but I just registered, so the application is pending.

3) Do you have nations in any other regions? If so, where?

No.

4) Do you serve in any official roles in any other regions or organizations? If so, what are they?

No.

5) Are you new to NationStates?

For all intents and purposes, yes. I played for a few weeks probably like five years ago, but never really got into it and didn't join any communities.

6) What timezone are you in?

GMT+1.

7) How did you find out about Wintreath?

Recruitment telegraph. Certainly seemed like the most well-written out of the 20+ I've received thus far.

Section II: Interests
Based on your answers, we will help you get involved in any aspect of the region that you are interested in! Indicating interest here does not commit you to joining any aspect of the region. You will be asked to sign up for relevant areas once you are a Citizen to confirm you still want to join it.

1) Would you like to serve in Wintreath's military, the Hvitt Riddaral?

Not sure. I read the guides on this site, and it seems interesting, but skimming a few other applications most people seem to say 'no'. Are there any downsides to it?

2) Are you interested in joining the Civil Service?

Definitely.

3) Would you like to be part of roleplays on the forums?

I at least don't want to commit to it at this stage.

4) Are you interested in joining a regional Minecraft server?

No.

5) What other interests do you have?

Politics-- elections specifically. Classical music. American Football. But generally, I'm fairly well-rounded in my interests, I'm both interested and have a good amount of lay knowledge in most STEM and liberal arts disciplines.

Yeah, not really sure what to say here. I'm 22, live in Germany, but my employer and most of my social network are American, so I tend to be active at hours closer to what might be expected of someone on EST than MET. If you have questions, ask away. Other than that, I'm happy to be here, and would be grateful if someone could show me the ropes.

Out of curiosity, are you German or did you move to Germany? It's interesting that most of your contacts are American.

No, I'm German. But I'm fascinated by the United States and its politics, so I decided to make a career out of that.

You made a career of US politics in Germany? I'm kinda curious as to how now.

I work on political campaigns and for political consulting firms, partially through remote work from Germany, partially from the US. I probably spend about 4-5 months out of the year in the US.

That is pretty awesome...do you have like a home in both countries?

Also, since it's been awhile and nobody from the Ministry of Integration has approved you, I went ahead and did so myself.

I have a home in Germany, I do short-term leases in the US, generally, especially since I'm not always in the same city.
