You know, up until this point, I've been fairly neutral on the topic of the judiciary, but after rereading the CoCL and the Judicial Offices Act, I feel that there is (or would be, should a case be presented) an incredible stacking of the odds against defendants that needs to be corrected.
There's ambiguity about how cases are presented, little in the way of actual sentencing or punishment guidelines, very short statutes of limitation, and a lack of defendants' rights.
