I would also like to point out the fact that my activity increases when I am in the Underhusen. As you have noticed running for Underhusen has increased my amount of posts a little bit. Also just because I do not post, means that I am not on the forums. I visit the forums several times daily, usually every couple hours or so. So I can be on the forums a lot. Also it should be noted that I post only when I feel like it is necessary, which isn't that often(although the exception is when I'm elected in the Underhusen which I post a lot in the sorting). So keep in mind that while it may seem like I'm not doing much, and that I may not see something, I will most of the time(certain sections I don't look at as much as others.). So unless I directly state it, or my IRC attendance stops, I am active, just in a different way.

Are you at all concerned that the lack of posting might lead some to believe you're out of touch with the average Wintreathean? Sure you read what they are posting, but engaging is a key factor as well.

The thing is I'm a lurker, I'm naturally a lurker it's who I am, on any forum. Besides if someone wants to talk to me they can post here and ask for me to post there, or they can contact me in the IRC, or they can PM me here. Also the Demonym is Wintrean.

So, to your mind, a lurker who needs to be prodded to engage in discussions is a good representative for the region then? Interesting.

You're welcome on the whole Demonym thing. However it's in other areas, not in the Underhusen. Again my activity is always up when I am in the Underhusen, and I don't need to be prodded except elsewhere, and even then I may still post randomly in other areas.

Your point was missed, and also for me, I view being out of touch as not knowing the community, and not knowing what is good and bad for it, which lurking can cause, but I've been doing this for a long time. And I am on the IRC(although most of the time I'm doing things) listening and watching, which helps. And I will admit that there are people better suited to be in the Underhusen then me.

I would like one final debate on the topic of Allowing people in the Riksrad to be in the Underhusen.

(Also a little note to Wintermoot can you please start the debates earlier, or pick someone to set this up if you are a bit too busy? This was a bit late, in my opinion and starting it earlier could have let more topics into the debate area.)

To be honest I think we should let any citizen run, unless it's a punishment set after due process.

Personally I don't have a problem with Riksrad serving in the Storting. Call me biased, but if an individual is willing to help in many different places, I believe that should be encouraged, not stifled because of.... I don't know

It is no secret that I am vying for, and am a frontrunner in contention for the Jarl of Culture position. With that being clarified, it is obvious that I approach this subject with some bias.

The question needs to be "is it in the best interest of the region?" The answer of course is in two parts. I firmly believe that if a citizen is capable of serving as both a Jarl, and as Skrifa, then we as a region need to allow it. Doing so allows for the prosperity of Wintreath, which is of the utmost importance.

The other thing to consider is that Skrifa are elected. Would be Skrifa would not be elected if the people didn't have the highest confidence in their abilities. In effect, limiting who can run for a seat in the Underhusen muzzles the citizens of this wonderful region, by not allowing them to be the ones to choose their representatives.

Limiting the choice of candidates is the first step on a slippery slope.
