Title: Chancellor Election Results

Chancellor elections are over, and the votes have been counted. For this election we had 16 ballots, including 4 private ballots. As you know, Chancellor elections follow the instant runoff format, so I will post each round below:

With 16 ballots, 9 preferential votes are needed to win.

Round 1
Svipjoth - 8
Arenado - 4
Chanku - 4
Joslisonoria - 0

Joslisonoria eliminated.

Round 2
Svipjoth - 8
Arenado - 4
Chanku - 4

Tie between Arenado and Chanku for lowest preferential votes.
Tie broken by using average rank on all ballots: Arenado (1.79) vs Chanku (2.58).
Chanku eliminated.

Round 3
Svipjoth - 9
Arenado - 7

Any way you measure it, it was a close election, but in the end @Svipjoth pulled out the victory, overcoming Arenado's legislative experience and years as part of the Wintreath community with her record of reviving the inactive RP space and with former Chancellor Laurentus's endorsement. Congratulations to her on being elected as our second Chancellor! I'm sure great things will happen during her term. :)
