After peace between the nations of Likaethia and Aronde was finally reached after years of war, the King of Likaethia sent out an invitation to your nations for a celebration of this peace. The event is to be held at Castle Eltemplo Masalto, a 14th century citadel. As you walk up the narrow path beside the steep cliffs, the lights of the castle seem to contrast the gloominess of the night. As watchmen see the procession come up the path, they call down to the guards at the entrance who open the gates. The glow from inside the reception hall is even more inviting against the cold, dark turquoise night

A small party from the United Fair Folk Islands arrives led by none other than the second princess Asteria. She alongside her long-time servant, a young man named Asmonidies were the only notable members of the party the rest being small-time bureaucrats. Princess Asteria wears a thick blue cloak over her blue kimono to keep herself warm from living in a tropical nation. Her hair is styled in an elaborate set of braids. Asmondidies himself wears a blue sash over his tan haori and hakam. All those of the royal party have a pin with the royal symbol the same symbol is on a pin attached to the end of Princess Asteria's braids. Giving small waves to those she passes Asteria heads inside the castle.

Regina Severina wears her usual golden dress and a gold tiara, together with her are 2 purple guards. She arrives on a golden coach and gets down, she startes heading out to the castle. She waves to the guards and goes inside.

Tarov Tormaigh walks into the meeting by himself, wearing his usual black robes lined with green and carrying a small amount of medical gear in his robes. He feel's comforted walking in, away from the night. 'finally, a day to celebrate peace' he thinks to himself 'every time I go to a meeting it's always for ending a war or causing war'. He introduces himself to reception. (I assume there's a receptionist d:, if not than redact the last sentence.)

"I'm afraid I don't consume alcohol but if you have any non-alcoholic drinks I would be happy to oblige." Princess Asteria steps out of the way as Regina Severina and Tarov Tormaigh make their way inside giving them small nods of respect. Having many lessons on the politics and geography of Wintreath growing up she knew that Mr.Tormaigh was from Dashika City and that Regina Severina was from the Holy Spire two nations larger than her own. She hoped to make a good impression on the pair.

Menendez arrives at the citadel with his casual attire and lights a cigar. “So… who shall annoy today?” He says to himself. He then spots Tarov, not knowing who they are. “Ah… a new one, I think. There truly isn’t enough time to meet everyone.” He stubs out the cigar and walks out. “Good day to you sir! How are you this evening and what country do you represent?”

A long, black overcoat covered the fox-like figure of Silver, his paws scampered over the sharp stones in a hurry, the large doorway expanding out into a pleasant wooden entranceway, the warmth a reassuring comfort to the night. Small groups erupted from doorways and a resonating chatter filled the air. He finds an empty wall to lean on and take in his surroundings.

Princess Asteria reaches out the cloak and the top layer of her kimono are long enough to cover her hands. Even so she gently grasps his and gives it a soft but firm shake. Cybernetics are not common in UFFI so she has never seen someone with them before. Princess Asteria can't help but stare for a moment before catching herself pulling her hand back. "The United Fair Folk Islands are always happy to talk with our regional neighbors."

King Ferrand clinks his glass with his cup and stands up. “Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to celebrate a historic agreement of peace. After many years of strife, Baron Lansson of Aronde,” He glances at the Baron who stands up amidst applause. The King continues. “And I have decided to throw aside any hard feelings we had for each other and come together into a new age of prosperity!
“Ah, Castle Eltemplo Masalto. The Final Sanctuary. You know, we were planning to hole up here if things went south! Hence the blast doors you might have seen when you walked in. Thankfully, though, we didn’t have to use them.
“But enough of boring old me! This is a celebration!”

As the copter drew near, Ariah noticed something. "Riji, do you see that crowd of people down there in front of the castle?" asked the Empress. "I think I do, your Majesty," replied the pilot, Riji Simmuni. The copter landed in the fields in front of the castle. "Well. We're here."

"Sniped? interesting, also nice to meet you dern, i am severina, sorry for the rudeness, but did you get hurt on your left wrist? if you want i can heal that" says severina looking with worry.
“Oh, this? A stupid new waiter dropped a thing of kitchen knives, and one cut my wrist. As for healing it, that’ll not be necessary. It’s almost fully healed. And besides, it makes me look tough, no?”

Tarov walks over and looks at the body "Calm down." he shoves him lightly out of the way and inspects the body for little less than a minute without touching the corpse "Bullet is of a small caliber, probably from a pistol. Most importantly, it looks like he was dragged into the stall. With how he was shot it doesn't make sense for him to die in this position. He was most probably placed here after death."

After insuring three is no shooting in the hall Asmonidies leaves the Princess along one wall before making his way over to the small crowd who found the dead body. Asmonidies steps forward looking at the person who actually found the body "No need for anyone to get hurt. I have a solution." He pulls out a vial of blue liquid. "Truth potion, I only have enough for one person though, and there is a 50% chance of death for the drinker if they have no magic."

Our theory is that the Baron was washing his hands when he was alerted to the presence of the killer, who promptly shot him. Then, the killer dragged him into the stall, where the duke found him. We also believe the killer is the same person who shot the guard, and is currently in the building, waiting to strike. So, we are doing a complete sweep of the castle now.”

"There are likely some suites for guests, we could use one of them as a safe spot. Asmonidies and I will check the people and see if any are alive if a few people stay with us when you find food come back here and we can all head up to a room together. Asmonidies and I will check the people and see if any are alive if a few people stay with us when you find food come back here and we can all head up to a room together. She took out a lockpick and successfully broke him out. "Thank you, Your Majest-" Bam! Riji's forehead bled out before falling to the ground.
