Section I: Ambassador Information
1) Who are you and what region do you represent?
I am Herzog Nequedum von Lokerzen of Hartfelden, but more commonly known as Glacikaldr from the Rejected Realms.
2) Are you replacing an ambassador from this region? If so, who?
No.
3) Does your region already have relations with us, or are you requesting an embassy as well?
I am requesting for an embassy with Hartfelden, as I am our (Hartfelden's) Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Section II: Embassy Information

1) What made your region decide to pursue relations with Wintreath?
We are trying our best to change the way NS sees the notion of a 'German region'. We strictly oppose all ideologies that belittle the good that modern-day Germany does across the world within the NationStates community, whether rationalist or moralist, and strive to run a secular region that surrounds itself with healthy influences, such as Wintreath, and common sense.
2) How do you feel our regions can help each other in the future?
Modern-day Germany is known for its political participation and acceptance of the other - breaking down the very notion of the other through the initiatives it contributes to in both the European Union and the United Nations. This new Germany is what we aim to pay homage to with our region: a peoples who allow common sense and the emotions into our lives and the way we act. With that said, culture and celebration will be a big part of our new region's image. As of writing, we have over seventy-five nations who share this vision.
3) What is your region's military stance? (defender, raider, imperialist, neutral, etc)
Currently we do not have a military, however there is some interest in establishing a raider organisation within our region. I am personally advocating for an independent army so that we can also have a presence in Libcord.

From a personal standpoint though, I think the premise of Hartfelden is fascinating. Unfortunately, German regions in NS tend to have the perception of being associated with or drawing inspiration from Nazis or fascists, which is odd given how rich Germanic history is. It will be nice to see a German-themed region go in another direction. Who knows, if you're successful there may be as many German regions in the future as British ones. :P
