Title: The Winter Defenders: Interest and Sign up.

Hi, I'm thinking about creating a roleplay called 'The Winter Defenders', but I'm kinda new to this so I'll run it as such: I describe the setting, you tell me what you do, I say what happens. The whole things will be on Discord and set in Wintreath, where you are the unofficial protector of it. If you are interested, say and post your profile of the character here (make sure it fits into a medieval magic type setting) and when there are at least 4, I will set up the server. Thanks!

Hi, glad to see a new person jumping right in and trying to get an RP up!

So it sounds like this RP will run more D&D-style than a collaboratively written story, is that correct? Like we control our characters, but you control the outcomes of our actions?

Also could you tell us more about the setting and story that this RP takes place?

And lastly, any reason why you're opting to use Discord over the forums? I know our RP forum area is currently dead, but the Cabinet is discussing plans to change things up, which is why it's in the state it's in, so don't be put off by that.

Yeah, about that. I actually play d&d so that's where the inspiration is coming from. The world is, as you would expect, very cold, in about the viking stages (the history of Wintreath ). There is magic, but very few individuals can wild it, and there are all manner of crazy beasts. Species wise, there are humans, dwarves, vhlas (wise, tall humanoids with furry skin, but a basic culture). The species are not trusting of each other, but unite under a common threat. I chose Discord because it is cleaner. There can be one channel for discussion, one for the story ect, so everyone knows what is happening.

A) I find  it easier to access, b) I can't do much with the forums. :)
