It's the Miss Nationstates Beauty Pageant!  I'm your host for the evening, Max Harrington.

And let's meet out judges for this contest.  First we have an actor from shows such as Bates Motel, The Pacifier, and most recently SEAL Team...give it up for Max Thieriot!

In this contest, you'll decide as a group who you want to go to the Judges during a Talent, Questionnaire, or Model session.  The person chosen will have to do their best out there, but chances are almost absolute that the judges might not be in the mood for them.  If that's the case, that contestant has the unfortunate opportunity to be sent home.

So if you're into sending your fellow contestants home through mob rule, just simply say Vote: Send ______ to the stage, and leave them to the wolves...so to speak.

After each Collaboration, you'll take a moment and be Off the Air so you can take a breather.  However, I have it on good authority that 2 of the contestants are out for pure sabotage.  They're there to make you look bad and get you sent home before the next Collaboration...and unfortunately our hands are tied.  You'll just have to hope as a group that the contestants you choose are the Saboteurs.

If you happen to get both of them sent home, then you'll push on through the final round where the Miss Nationstates winner will be chosen.  However, if even one of them survives with one of you, they'll automatically take the win.

Fear not though, for there are 2 Fashionistas that can choose to protect a contestant during the Off Air Segment.  However, they can't protect the same contestant twice in a row.  Likewise, there is our Watcher, who can ask about a contestant during the Off Air Segment.  If she chooses a Saboteur, she can discreetly use that knowledge to start a vote against them in the later Collaborations...provided she doesn't rouse suspicion to her role.  If she chooses anyone else, she can add that person to her Model Collective: a force that when combined can work to take out the Saboteurs with ease.

Rules:

1) Each Collaboration is 48 hours, and each Off The Air Segment is 24 hours.  The game will begin with a Collaboration that will last 72 hours.

2) The Saboteurs will win if they pick off everyone and are left equaling the number of contestants.  The Contestants will win if they successfully vote off the Saboteurs.

3) Roles cannot be divulged, discussed, hinted, or anything of the sort.  In this game you are known as either your character name, or your Miss _____ title.  Any hints even regarding who you scanned/protected during any point will be met with being sent home.  The only exception to this rule is the Watcher mentioning it to anyone in her Model Collective.  However, those in the collective are also forbidden from outing the Watcher in any way.

4) Saboteurs can vote as a group who to sabotage during each Off Air Segment.  The Watcher can choose someone to scan during the same segment.  Likewise, the Fashionistas can each choose someone to watch over during that same segment.

5) Once you are voted to go home, you are allowed to have your last goodbye before joining the Audience PM.  Do not spoil the game by giving away any knowledge you have on a role, or you may ruin your chance of participating in the next game that you sign up for.

6) While you may choose not to lynch someone, you must vote within 2 consecutive phases to be considered active.  Inactivity will be met with being sent home.

The show will begin, as mentioned in a 72 hour Collaboration round.  It will begin once everyone has received and responded to their PMs.  Once they have, I will issue the signal to start the game.  In the meantime, feel free to use this time to ask any questions you may have.  Good luck to everyone!

Especially the saboteur part! My sisters always stole my clothes. And not in the 'oh we share' way, in the 'mine now bitch' way. They were awful. Love you girls!

edit: yes generally it's bad form to edit but come on the tone sounded more like a 12 year old boy than a valley girl, by god i'm going to play this role to the fucking hilt

It's time contestants!  Time for the first Collaboration Segment.  As mentioned, for this first segment, you'll have 72 hours to discuss who you think should go first, if anyone.  Keep in mind though, with this smaller cast, it might be best to have someone chosen, but I leave that decision completely up to you ladies.  The first challenge is the beginning Questionnaire, so the chosen person will answer questions about themselves and attempt to impress the judges (though in reality, this means nothing to you, so don't worry about having to prepare anything).  The judges are anxious to question one of our wonderful contestants, but they're not required to if nobody shows up.

Now, while you're discussing amongst yourself, there's treats by our catering team.  We've got smoothies, yogurt, fruit, water bottles, and some lovely parfaits.  So feel free to dig in while you talk.

We'll go Off the Air on May 31st at 8:30PM PST.

Max Harrington: Hello there folks, and welcome to our Miss Nationstates Beauty Pageant.  I'm your host, Max Harrington, and our first contestant tonight is representing the lovely region of the South Pacific...please give it up for Elizabeth Taulover!

The audience cheers as Miss South Pacific makes her way to the stage, towards a microphone placed near the end.  She almost trips on her heels, making both the judges and audience wonder if this is her first time walking in them, but she attempts to brush it off gracefully as she reaches the microphone.

Max Harrington: Now Elizabeth, what would you do if you were elected Miss Nationstates?

Elizabeth Taulover: Well Mr. Harrington, if I were elected Miss Nationstates, I'd work hard to make sure the noble jellyfish was recognized.  I'd fight for universal holiday known as Jellyfish Day to be created, where everyone would admire such a majestic creature, and I would even donate my winnings to the National Jellyfish Awareness Organization.

Max Harrington: That's...interesting!  Judges? What do you think?

The judges are clearly speechless both in the contestant's answer, as well as her outfit...because she's dressed in an odd jellyfish attire which they hadn't noticed until she reached the microphone.  Max Barry finally speaks up.

Max Barry: Well, you certainly love jellyfish...jellyfishes...what are they called as a collective? Well jellyfish, whatever.  But I think I speak for the other judges when I say that I don't think you're a good choice for Miss Nationstates, but thanks for trying!

Max Harrington: Well I guess that's the breaks.  I'm sorry Miss South Pacific, but you won't be moving onto the next round.  And since you were hired as one of our Fashionistas, I'll ask you to turn in your badge before you leave.

Upset, Elizabeth storms the stage, as Max Harrington makes his way off as well.  The camera then cuts to Elizabeth in her dressing room, as she's taking the jellyfish hat off.

Elizabeth Taulover: I came here to do my best, and that's all that matters to me.  If the judges can't see how truly wonderful the jellyfish is, that's all on them.  I wish the other ladies luck, as I had absolutely no qualms against any of them.  I don't think I could pick which one I thought would win, as they're all equally talented.

That would actually have been an incredible justification for saboteurs, actually, had it been them who booted Taulover - that they completely misrepresented key elements of characterization on TV. But now it's...more confusing than that, so I'm guessing honest mistake on Pengu's part...
...if it wasn't for the last Werewolf Pengu ran, anyway. Now I'm suspicious about the very format as a result of this mindscrew.

Wait a second.  This is the handiwork of ousted writer, Max Mayam!

I'm terribly sorry for that mistake, Miss South Pacific, but alas the result is the same.  Just switch out moose outfit with jellyfish outfit, and replace moose with jellyfish for the animal, and boom! Problem solved.

Max Harrington: Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to the Miss Nationstates Beauty Pageant.  Up next, we have a talent segment with the young plucky Miss Canada! And yes folks, it actually is her this time. I checked with our writers, and they've assured me that the cue cards are indeed correct this time.  So give it up for Miss Canada herself, the lovely miss Geraldine Gerrickson!

The audience applauds as Geraldine makes her way to the stage, wearing a thankfully lovely, fashionable red maple leaf dress.

Max Harrington: Wow, what a stunning outfit Miss Canada! I must say I'm quite impressed by the use of maple leaves.

Geraldine: Thank you, it was something I made myself.

Max Harrington: Lovely, and I think the judges agree that is definitely a creative and fashionable piece.  Anyways, what are you performing for us tonight Geraldine?

Geraldine: I'll be performing the fine art of spinning plates.

Harrington: Wonderful, wonderful.  Please proceed.

Geraldine begins the process of spinning several plates on their balanced poles, but has trouble.  Several of the plates fall easily or shatter the moment they touch the tip of the pole, while one of the plates seems completely stuck...as if it was glued on.

Geraldine: This can't be happening, I swear these were working perfect when I was practicing...I don't know what could have happened.

Max Theiriot: Unfortunately, I'm not impressed.

Max Greenfield: Ditto.

Max Barry: Sorry kid, looks like that's a definite 0 all around.

Max Harrington: A disappointing defeat.  I'm sorry Miss Canada, it looks like you're not moving onto the next round.  But hey, thanks for coming out tonight.

confused and disappointed, Geraldine shuffles off of the stage as the camera follows her for a bit, as it then cuts to her camera segment

Geraldine: I practiced that trick night and day and perfected everything myself.  There was absolutely no way possible that it could have gone that badly.  I even checked my stuff before even being called onto the stage, and it seemed fine.  I'm pretty certain I was sabotaged by someone who was afraid I was going to win tonight.

That's absolute garbage and you both know it. None of us had any information going into this, and the fact that when I randomly picked from the population with a 1/4 chance of hitting a Saboteur (since there are 2 Saboteurs, 9 of us, and I'm obviously not voting for myself which makes it 8 of you), I missed, is hardly worth lynching me over.
Particularly since there's only 7 of us left, and 2 Saboteurs in play. Recognize that that means if we lose just 3 people, we lose. I'd think it a much safer move to No Lynch and give the Watcher time to work - because mathematically here's what we have right now.

Watcher targeted Saboteur, information but no model collective - 2/7.
Watcher targeted regular contestant, started model collective - 3/7.

Watcher targeted Gerrick, making any information useless - 1/7.

What this means is that if the Watcher has any useful information - they have nobody who 100% knows for a fact that they're trustworthy, whereas if they have people in the Collective, they have no useful information. And so any dogpile at this juncture is actively detrimental to us because we're firing in the dark again - and while we have a 2/7 chance of making a hit, we have a 5/7 chance of digging ourselves a bigger hole - of which 2/5 of that will seriously fuck us if it hits the other Fashionista, or god forbid, the Watcher.

It's vaguely suicidal to do because my neck is already on the chopping block and I'm just kind of leaving it there, but I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and Vote: No Lynch.

Well, that is truly unfortunate.

I'll vote for Red Mones on the basis that I suspect him more than Hydra and Wintermoot, his reasoning for not voting for Doc seems more suspicous than Hydra and Wintermoot has been largely quiet this game.

Alas poor Hydra, we knew her well.  Just as she was putting on her makeup, she found it was replaced by cow feces.  Obviously the judges didn't much care for the look or smell, so they sent her home.

Hydra was the game's Watcher.

That just leaves Wintermoot, North, and Kane lives.

And it's time for a Collaboration.  Depending on your choice, it may be your last.

This collaboration will end when all 3 people have cast their votes, or at 10pm pst on June 13th, whichever comes first.

I've remained active in other parts of the forums because they have to be higher priority for me, especially when we're trying to get things going again on the forums. What I do elsewhere on the forums has never had anything to do with the roles I have in Werewolf games either way, cause I simply don't believe in inactivity as a strategy. But I understand that a saboteur would claim otherwise to cast suspicion on me instead of themselves...I'm sure they're ecstatic that because I missed that round I'm the only person who didn't vote for Doc. Maybe that's why North seems so eager in initially pointing that out, so much so that he has to walk it back a bit in his last post and make it look like he suddenly wasn't entirely sure of his action.

And on that I'm going to vote North. What better way to avoid suspicion than to vote for the saboteur that's already going to be voted off and for them to vote for you in turn?

I actually considered the possibility that it was Kane, because he was able to fly under the radar the entire game, but I ultimately voted North because he acted so certain that it was me in his first post of the last round that I figured it was more likely that he was the saboteur and putting on an act to deflect attention from himself.

Good Game all.  I was actually worried the whole time that the Watcher would scan us saboteurs and get us sent away.  Thank you North for making it a little easier to send your fellow contestants away :P.  I felt like the silence made it easier to send some of you off.  Doc and I had actually planned to backstab the other if we were being voted off to deflect suspicion.  It definitely helped.  It also didn't hurt that the Fashionistas were voted off so early which made it easier to sabotage the more investigative players.  Thanks for hosting the game Pengu, it was fun.

I had a suspicion that it was you. :P I mentioned it briefly in a PM to North as our collective but you fooled us pretty well. I was scanning you the night I died in hopes of adding you to our collective. You guys definitely
thwarted my scanning since I scanned Gerrick the first night and you guys killed him so the collective was ultimately just me and North.
