The above title is very vague for a pretty good reason, namely the fact that I present two ideas I've been throwing around for a couple days now, and am now tentatively probing for interest in.
I am also assuming I'm doing this right by putting this thread here. If I didn't, well, better to seek forgiveness than ask permission, I always say quietly to myself when I'm in trouble.
The first may be familiar to any Ainur refugees; I called it Pantheon back then, and as you may be able to infer from the title, concerns the players, er, forming a pantheon in the Greco-Roman sense, wherein you are responsible for the creation of a world and the beings within It, and have power over certain aspects or elements of the natural world, along with various abstract concepts like 'love' or activities like 'war'. This would be essentially freeform, and I would essentially take the role of GM as opposed to participant, mostly because I felt like I was DMPCing when I was a participant, and I'd like to avoid that.
The second is very plot driven, in perhaps a similar way to Ashton's Empowered, but in a different genre of course. This would be a cyberpunk world where a man is putting together a team for a hit on a megacorporation. His reasons are unknown to you, but the money he's offering is very, very real, and he only wants the best for this hit.
Naturally I'd only run one, but I find myself intrigued by both, and so rather than force myself to pick I'd rather you all did it for me.

well at the old stuff for pantheon is still up on the dellenaria forums. I put the board back online is case anyone wanted anything from them

I really like the second idea, but it seems criminally limited in scope, plot-wise. It would be like if Empowered began and ended with the Innocence Lost mission (ECLIPSE and Tinfoil coming soon, folks). Is there more to it than just the hit? If so, I would be thrilled to join. I'll still probably join anyways. I already have a character in mind lol
The first idea is safe, charted territory in terms of RP, but it suffers the opposite problem as the second idea: the plot scope is, somewhat by definition, universal, and the world and all its wonders is way too big, even for the gods. We kind of ran into this problem in Dellenaria when we were still building the world. Unless you have a fix proposed, I would be wary of this one.

Justinian:
I had access to it on Ainur too, so there was that. But Dellenaria had a complete-er version anyway.
Ashton:
I couldn't tell you that now, could I?
Even if there wasn't though - there is a lot that goes into a hit on a corporate facility, especially when it's a megacorp like Ronin Security Solutions. It might be one hit you're working towards, but there's a lot of incremental steps to get there.
As for the problem with Pantheon, the problem in Dellenaria was that it NEEDS sort of 6 minimum to work, and we only had 3. We couldn't even get it off the ground. Here...maybe not so much a problem.

The one bump this will ever get out of hope it will draw more interest.
If not, I'll just let it die a quiet, and probably thoroughly undignified death.
-
I mean, I like the ideas here. Idk where everyone else is.

Don't know what Ainur is, but I know a lot about the Celtic pantheon, I don't really believe in that stuff but it is a lot of fun compared to the boring religions, so I think I'd be interested in your first idea.
-
It's where a reasonable number of the presently active population fled from. Medium-length but fairly common and thus pointless story.
The relevant part is that, essentially, you'd be making a member of said Pantheon, so you'd be making the equivalent of Lugh, or maybe the Dagda or the Morrigan (since now that I think about it Lugh might just be like Hercules, so not entirely godly, but then again I might be misremembering).
So, you know. Collectively working together on the events underlying an overall creation myth.

I mean, it's interesting, but I didn't want to express interest because I seem to be finding trouble finding time for RP'ing currently.

I am interested in the future version, sounds sort of Tom Clancy Rainbow-esk, which is something I was actually going to suggest.
