MY QUALIFICATIONS

• Skrifa of the 13th and 18th (current) Underhusen
• Either wrote or helped write every single law in New Hyperion
• Most recently, helped negotiate The Covenant of Fellowship Between New Hyperion and Wintreath (http://wintreath.com/index.php?part=law&act=detail&id=90) (which made them our vassal)
• That's about it I think

• To be honest I don't really have one

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

• I'm not sure if that's really a Conflict of Interest now, since New Hyperion is our vassal now plus my department doesn't do anything anyway ):
• I think some people would argue that this is actually even more of a conflict of interest now, so I'm including it regardless

Could you give us a recap of your achievements in the 18th Underhusen? Is there a specific reason you run for a second consecutive term? I.e. is there something that'd be left unfinished should you not get re-elected?

Which would you say is more important, the will of the people or the will of the potato?

Is there something about New Hyperion you feel should be implemented here as well? How exactly would your close ties to New Hyperion benefit the Underhusen and the people of Wintreath?

As you all probably know, the Underhusen is rather inactive in general, and has been for quite some time... Nevertheless, we did ratify the New Hyperion-Wintreath treaty (which I helped negotiate and write) as well as the law granting citizenship to those without NS nations in Wintreath.

To be completely frank, no. As I've said above, I don't really have a platform :P though I do think there are some vague bits in the Procedural Rules that ought to be fixed regarding the editing of bills, as evidenced by the previous Underhusen session.

What do you mean‽ They are one and the same! To paraphrase the great Charles Erwin Wilson, what is good for the Potatoe is good for Wintreath! :D

As we've already seen over the past year or so, the Hyperian-inspired guild system has taken hold in Wintreath and seen tremendous success in revitalizing our RP community. Of course, the other guilds remain largely inactive, and I think they could use some rejuvenation, but that's largely out of the purview of the Storting. Other than that, besides our meritocratic leanings (which we now share in the guilds and elsewhere), New Hyperion and Wintreath have fairly different philosophies toward government that may not intertwine well.

I never said they would. :P But in all seriousness, being a part of multiple regions has helped expand my worldview of various (NS) communities and governments. Further, it's a good idea to have a voice in government from our vassal, especially when we may be expecting closer integration to take effect once our treaty is fully carried out. :)
