I decline my nomination; though thank you BraveSirRobin :) It's still appreciated... I don't think I've been a force for much... well I was going to say good, but I guess I'll just say... much of anything... maybe a term without me around would be good. :)

Best of luck to all those running! ^-^

I'll stand for election.

I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow before campaigning, but I'll try to soon.

This is somewhat off-topic for this thread, but will you be appointing an Overhusen Peer at the end of the election?

Not sure yet...it'll depend on who is available for the role, I suppose.

Elections will begin six days from today, on 1 December 2016.

I just realized, wouldn't that actually be 9 days from today (well, 9 days from when the topic was created)?  6 days would be the 28th of November.  :P

It depends on time zone, so what time zone was he talking about? Because that does make a big difference.

Also, why is it on eastern time(EST) for me? I'm on central time(CST)

Mathy, click your username in the upper right corner of your screen, then "old user cp" in the drop-down list, then "modify profile" in the upper left, then "look and layout" from the drop-down list, then "autodetect" next to time offset. That should fix it.

Regardless of the time zone (and Moot is in the US, as am I, and we're at a 4 hour difference from each other I believe), it would only affect the actual time, but not number of days...and if I recall, at most it'd be a day behind/ahead, not 3.  :P

Well, for his original post, it would have been 8 days away, not 9. His original post was on the 23rd. That's 8 days before Dec 1, not 9. I thought your time zone was on a different date, but I guess you just made a mistake.

EDIT actually, it did make a difference because his original post was very close to midnight for me, so 4 hours would make a difference. It would be either 8 or 9 days from that original post, depending on time zone.

You just literally stated what my first point was.

8 or 9 (it would be 9 in my time zone, since he made the post at 10PM PST on November 22nd), it's definitely not 6 days unless it ended on the 28th PST or 29th EST.

I was  correcting that.

Also, I didn't see this somehow:
...and if I recall, at most it'd be a day behind/ahead, not 3.  :P
I agree it's not 6, and that it's 8 or 9, I was just correcting you when you said time zone wouldn't affect the amount of days.

Oh, and I'd like to nominate @BraveSirRobin.
I appreciate the nomination :) , but I'm absolutely swamped IRL presently, so I'll have to decline this time!

Plus, there are already so many wonderful candidates to choose from!  :)
