Dead Win (died but shared with those who won) - 2 points
Double Elimination 2 Dead Wins (dead wins in both rounds of a DE game) - 3 points
Participation (lost but actively participated or draw game due to incompletion) - 1 point
Host - 1 point
Inactivity Death (was booted for inactivity) - 0 points

I've been wondering whether the winning teams shouldn't get half the points if individual members who were in that team happened to have died before the conclusion of the game. Colby and I have been talking about the game in PM after he goaded me into killing him, and I too died shortly after, and it seems many people sacrifice themselves to let their teams win, as he did. It seems fair to me to list those people as having half the points they would have had if they had survived, since they contributed to that victory too.

With the end of Werewolf VI comes more points! To make things a bit more fair, I'll be tweaking the point system to the following:
*Living Wins - 3 points
*Dead Wins (for those who die but share with those who win) - 2 Points
*Participation - 1 point
This is so that good and bad guys both get equal points for winning a game (since both have to put a lot of effort to make it to the end), and likewise everyone at least gets a point for taking part.
I'll be going through and tweaking the current list shortly bring it up to date and with the correct new totals.

Updated, including Werewolf X1 and X2. Added "inactive deaths", meaning if you were booted due to inactivity, then you receive 0 points for that game.
EDIT: Also, added asterisks next to names for number of games hosted.

Just noticed that my hosting of Werewolf VII isn't on there. Though I'm not sure I should get an extra point for that, given that I also participated in the game and only came on as host after I died.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I had only checked who had started each game and forgot about that. I'll fix it.

Yes, I calculated everything and sent it to Laurentus a while back, but I think he hasn't gotten around to it yet.

My thought was that it would be unfair to treat it as two games, since people who either weren't in or won the first game could not participate in the second game.
So I looked at the points system and thought it made sense to award 1 point for participating in the entire Werewolf XIV, another point for winning (plus another if you won in both games), and a nother point if you're alive when you won.
And so that makes 1 point for participation, 2 points for a dead win, 3 points for two dead wins, and 3 points for a living win.
If you and/or Laurentus disagree on this points distribution, feel free to make changes to it.

I find it interesting that you made the "2 dead wins" a separate category, when previous exceptional point rewards (such as the draw in a earlier game of Werewolf) didn't get marked as such.
Also, didn't mention this because it didn't come up, but presumably I would think that 1 dead win and 1 living win would be 4 points.

Just didn't make sense to me to lump the DE 2 dead wins with a living win since they're not really the same. The way I saw it was that draws aren't really exceptional because they're counted as participations since they participated but didn't win. I can create a separate draw category worth 1 point if that would be wanted, though. And yeah, 4 points for that sounds good.

Wait, you'll have to spell out to me who gets how many points because the wording is pretty vague in that thread. Would Hydra get 3, and you, Bootsie, and Barnes get 2, and everyone else gets 1 since that was when the draw was agreed upon? Or would you and Hydra get 3 since you were the only survivors, while everyone else gets 2 since everyone else died but "won". Or something else?

So I was looking back through previous games to research for the current game, and I noticed I needed to update the list in the OP. As I was updating my Excel sheet, I realized the draw dilemma above was never settled. Since Werewolf XVII: Santa's Apprentice also ended in a draw similar to WWVI: Until Dawn, I was wondering how we'd like to award points in the case of draws.
In both cases, one side (the wolves) was viewed as the "winners" in the draw, so it was suggested that that side would get more points.
Here's one possible solution (which could probably go in a spoiler as "Draws" underneath the current stuff since it's quite a bit).
Draw Living Win: 3 points (WWVI: Hydra, WWXVII: taulover and Fortis Scriptor)
Draw Dead Win: 2 points (WWVI: taulover, WWXVII: Sapphiron)
Draw Living Loss: 2 points (dead wolves in both above)
Draw Dead Loss: 1 point (dead townies in both above)
Draw Participation: 1 point (everyone in WWIX: The SS Wintreath Sets Sail and WWX1: The Murder of Mr. Winter since they both ended as actual neutral draws)
I'd also probably change the current "Participation" to just "Loss" to help differentiate.
