It was unusually quiet on the Citadel as the crew of the Normandy disembarked from the first leg of their journey. Tensions were running high, a mix of being cooped up in a confined space for an extended period of time and the heightened possibility that there were cerberus plants within the crew. Not just the crew, but perhaps the whole Alliance.

Before long, the crew sat across from me in my office, ready to point fingers. I settled in for another Shepard-induced headache. I hadn’t had this much going down in my office since the Spectre dilemma.

I scanned the group of aliens in front of me, hiding the disdain on my face the best I could. I was council, after all. I had to hide on a daily basis.

“Alright, Shepard. Which one of you would like to start? Because I’d like you all out of my office as fast as possible.”
