Wintermoot, who are your 1st, 2nd, and 5th favorite Wintreathians?Favourite according to what scale? People I like best? People I think have served Wintreath best? Favourite is rather relative. :P
Winter moot, do you have a favorite American Football team you like?Sorry, I don't really follow sports, so I have no favourite team to give you. :P
Do you like pie?Very much so, although too often pie-bakers don't realize that a pie isn't a cake and try to make them too sweet, as was the case with a keylime pie I tasted recently. imo pies are the perfect combination of sweetness, tartness, and a yummy crust. ^_^
What do you think of YOLO?No, just no. :P
What do you think of the first Underhusen?Honestly, I thought it would be somewhat more active. There's so much the Underhusen could take up but hasn't, and I'm not sure if it's because they simply aren't aware of what they could do or if they're just satisfied with the way things are. In the same vein, I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been more debate within the Underhusen, and that what little there has been has been prompted by Overhusen vetoes, not anything internal.
What do you think is the next step in Wintreath's development?I think that we're in transition from a new region to a more established region, with people that have "grown up" in Wintreath coming into their own and becoming large-scale contributors in our community. I think that's something to be encouraged, and I feel the "next step" is more organic community growth, where community members help chart the region's direction instead of me just stating it, especially in areas such as culture. On our end, we're looking to fill many of the vacancies in the Executive government, and with luck the end result of the next step will be more input from our Citizens and less micromanagement from me.
Do you have any ideas for a new law for wintreath, if so what is it?Well, it would probably be nice to have a criminal code, so I'm not arbitrarily removing people whenever people need to be punished. :P
YOLO?No.
What are some hopes you have for the future of wintreath?Continued success and retention of our peaceful, cooperative community. Oh, and to see our Delegate beat out Spiritus' in endos. :P
What are some ideas you have for the region?Don't worry, when I'm ready to put out any ideas I have I'll post about them. I'm not holding anything back. ;)
What is your favorite type of pie?Pecan, followed closely by apple and keylime.
Do you know what Jaffa Cakes are? If so have you tried one? If so did you like it?Daylen explained them to me after a chat on IRC mentioned them, but I've never tried one.
Do you hate fish?Depends on the context...I like watching fish, but it's not my favourite thing to eat. I guess that just saves a few fish from being eaten. :P
What do you look forward to in the next election(which the Underhusen members have been in office for one month tomorrow)?I look forward to candidates explaining their vision for the region and justifying their position in the Underhusen. I think one of the few benefits of actual elections is that candidates have to actually put out and explain what they want to do in detail during their term. I think a vigorous, active campaigns helps raise activity here on the forum too.
Do you think we should give Nox his own Demonym?I have no opinion on the matter. :P
What did you think of the first Election?I thought as en election it was very successful. We had enough candidates that the nobody won by default, and I'm told we had more votes in our election than Spiritus, a far older and more established region, had in theirs.
Do you reject the notions of Wintreath Holidays?Nope. In fact I signed the Regional Holidays Act when I was President of Spiritus. I don't know why I'd be against it now. :P
What do you think about the possible Demonym that is could end up in the Overhusen.Well, we don't have a criminal code, a procedure for trying cases, or regulation for a number of things set up, but apparently the most important thing to consider in the region is how we'll refer to Nox in official documents. It just kinda seems...fluffy, at a time when the Underhusen could be taking up more serious matters in the month remaining in its term.
Do you think women should be allowed to go topless?I'm honestly divided on that. In theory, yes they should, but every guy I've talked to that has wanted this has just really wanted to be able to freely ogle at breasts, so I"m not sure this would be doing women any favours to be honest.
Do you think women should be allowed to breastfeed in public?Sure.
What languages do you know?I was able to hack together enough Spanish to pass my high school courses, but that was a long time ago and I retain nothing from that. If you mean programming languages though, I know C/C++, Visual Basic, PHP, HTML (though it's not really a programming language), Javascript, and I've done very basic things in Java and Python. I also know SQL, though I'm not sure that counts as a language.
How does it feel to have a possible extra-terrestrial in your region?Pretty good. ;)
Will you be like Queen Elizabeth and live forever?Depends on if the Singularity hits in my lifetime. If not, I suppose there's always cryonics, though I'm not sure that counts as being like Queen Elizabeth.
What is your astrological star sign?Pisces
You're a fish too!!Fish don't fuck...the female releases unfertilized eggs, which the male then fertilizes directly. Sorry. :P
Would you fuck me?
Can we all please remember that "will you fuck me?" does not mean will you put your penis in me but "Will you have sex with me?"
Are you talking about NS sports or e-sports teams? Cause I think NS sports is already a roleplay thing, but I'm not very familiar with it.
Who would you choose from the region to preside over our wedding?;P
My question was directed towards you, Moot. Like, when you finally give into my charm, who will officiate our ceremony. Plus, I'm nobility now, so you won't be settling as bad :PRejection ;'X
Thanks guys! That's a really cute picture, Sapph. :)
@Sapph - To be honest, I'm doing what I would do most Saturdays...going over the region, watching Netflix, and just relaxing. It's been a long time since I really celebrated my own birthday. :P
@Pengu - You're around my age, you tell me, gramps. ;)
@Reon - Everyday should be a grand winter orgy. Especially with Asians. I'm becoming such a rice queen...:P
Sure. Everyone's a member of my Harem...most just don't know it yet. ;)lol what? Heeeeeeelllllllllllllĺlllllll nooooooooooooooooooo
Should I but a plush octopus?Yes, always. :))
Where does the name "Wintermoot" come from? ^-^It comes from the game Digital: A Love Story, which is still one of my favourite visual novels. Wintermoot is a named mentioned in one of the BBSes you access as part of the game, though they aren't a character in the game at all.
What's your favorite snack? This is important to me.Nothing like swallowing down a load of cum as a reward for all your *hard* work...was that honest enough for you? :P
When are you gonna propose to me? This is just as important as your favourite snack....and favourite alone time toy...Wink WinkI'm a genie in a bottle baby, you gotta rub me the right way honey... :P
Do you like answering questions? :DDoesn't everyone like when others take an interest in them and their viewpoints? :P
I didn't know cum wasn't food.It certainly should be! But you know how some people are...
What do you think of me, be honest.I think you're great...it's been great having you as part of the community, first at Spiritus and now here. I still remember us meeting. The region wouldn't be the same without you. :)
Have no clue who that is, Noxy, and I don't know, North. xDHarley Quinn, the Joker's iconic sidekick...
Sorry to break the chain of love going on, but:
1) Which is better, Imperial or Metric units?
2) What's your least favorite status effect?
3) Would you consider making a MH4U night for the members to get together in jolly cooperation?
4) What's the game you're looking most forward to?
5) If you could punch a developer in the face, who would it be and why?
*Note: number 1 has a correct answer. Choose wisely.
Do you like trains?I like them just fine. :)
Wow—the Monarch got through all of 2016 without any questions!!?!?!? The same cannot be repeated in 2017. This is clearly the reason why the world was terrible last year.Eh, it's not like I'm actually all that interesting. :P
SO: Who is your favourite Star Trek character?
(psst—it should be Q ;) )
Here are my questions:/me shrugs :P
1. Is the following a lie: This statement is a lie.
2. Will you answer this question not in the affirmative?
3. Is "heterological" heterological?
/me shrugs :PFiiiiine, I'll ask possible quesions. ::)
Fiiiiine, I'll ask possible quesions. ::)/me shrugs :P
1. How do you either prove or disprove the Collatz Conjecture (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collatz_conjecture)?
2. What is the 37 quintrigintillionth digit of e (Euler's Constant)?
3. What is the first digit of Graham's Number (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham's_number)?
To be fair, you did have a one-in-ten chance of being correct on the last two.Fiiiiine, I'll ask possible quesions. ::)/me shrugs :P

Huh, so if you quote someone now the mention won't work? @Wintermoot is that accurate? To be fair, you did have a one-in-ten chance of being correct on the last two.@Mathyland I can say with 100% confidence that the first digit of Graham's number is 1
You might be right, but I don't know. In not sure you should be 100% confident about that. Maybe 10% confident is better. To be fair, you did have a one-in-ten chance of being correct on the last two.@Mathyland I can say with 100% confidence that the first digit of Graham's number is 1

Is the Steam group still somewhat active (that you know of)? What about the Minecraft server?
I haven't personally been on the MC server lately, but from what I've been told it's been fairly active lately but you can still sometimes go on and nobody else be around. I guess that's mostly from being small though. :PI also do believe that Wintermoot will need to approve your MC account on the server here (http://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=3596.0) if you wish to join.
It sounds like you think that outcome is inevitable.
Only when I do anything like this, I don't think this way about what others do.I strongly believe you have to have some aspect of life where you're following your dreams, and for me this is it.
Just wanted to know what someone else might think about themselves though.
You didn't disappoint. That was movie-worthy quotable.
How did you learn how to create this website / where did you learn programming?Just a quick partial response before Wintermoot answers, but the footer of the website says that Wintermoot built off of Simple Machines 2.0 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_Machines_Forum). Though that seems to be only for the forums, and not other parts of the website.
How did you create this website?
Given the importance of this place, do you consider people here to be your close friends? If that's not too personal.Being a member here doesn't automatically make someone my friend or close friend, but it also doesn't prevent the possibility from happening...like anywhere, it depends on how often and how personally I come to interact with the person and whether we just click. There's been people on here I view as acquaintances, friends, close friends, and even more than that. I've fallen for people on here before, and in some cases have had relationships with them.
Would you say your time here has been healthy and rewarding more times than not?Oh gosh yeah, I doubt I'd still be here if that wasn't the case. :P
Would you say you've ever had rivals in the NS world, and would you say you've even had some in this region itself? There's plenty of people that don't like me, either because I left Spiritus and started my own region, because I accepted Govindia into the region, because of the sexual element here, or because they're friends with people who don't like me for those reasons and don't know better but I'm not important enough in NS to have rivals. I don't think I've had any here either...there have been people who didn't like some decisions I made, and people who have made a stink over some things, but nothing that ever developed into the sort of dislike or hatred to become a rivalry.
Huh, interesting timing on that question and answer...In fairness, most of the people who have that opinion have never actually been here or experienced the community, and at one time someone was spreading a rumour that Wintreath was founded as a sex region because I couldn't have sexy times in Spiritus (both claims untrue, lol). In the region itself, there have been discussions here about the sexual aspect of the region from time to time, but that was mostly people who objected to even being around it, back when IRC was more active and was much more sexual.
Okay, I have to check who this Govindia was, later.
Edit: Huh, "10. Possible Revocation of Govindia's Citizenship - 185 likes" shows up in a top ten most liked topics post. Seems like a strong hint...
Edit2: Harassing people? Instead dislike from me. Is it too late to symbolically add a vote to remove him? I think it's fair to say that I would not have gotten along with him very well.
For now, people have had a problem with the sexual element here? That seems odd. In another region, someone was surprised that I didn't have a problem with it, after I admitted to having been beaten and raped to explain one of my posts there (here I just got it out of the way first to possibly explain future posts). But there was an important difference here. Nobody is objectifying anyone, either another forum member or anyone else. Everyone seems to understand consent, nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. I even used to be a 'check-behind-the-shower-curtain' person, and even I can say that they way this group talks about the subject is completely fine.
And now after typing that, I wonder, they wouldn't mean because it's pro-LGBT here right? Because one thing I don't get is how LGBT+ is inherently more sexual than the alternative. Based on the population level, I'm pretty sure straight people are doing it too. Just seems more acceptable for some reason.
I'm sure I've seen the answer before but I forgot so I'll ask :DA few weeks before Wintreath was founded, I had already planned on making a test region to try to convince Tim (the founder of Spiritus) of switching to a self-hosted forum where we could do a lot more than could be done using Zetaboards. Over the course of a few hours one afternoon, Leutheria/Insenjar and I shot out ideas to each other about a name for the test region, but nothing sounded right. At some point we pulled up a map of Skyrim and I honed in on Markarth, which became Winterarth because winter is my favourite season. Then we played around with it until it sounded right. Winterth, Wintreth, and finally Wintreath.
How did you come up with the name Wintreath?
What was the inspiration behind the name Inric Kestar?Originally it was Inric Volkihar, back in my very early days in NS when I was focusing on developing my original nation, Idantir. I used some RP name generator with the first name, and pulled the second from Skyrim because I thought it was cool. Then I briefly became Inric Locksley when Cormac and later Tim adopted me, before the family changed it's name to Stark. It became Kestar after Wintreath was founded and my relationship with Tim was beginning to sour...basically, Leuth, who was my NS-wife at the time, came up with a list of potential names, and we picked Kestar as the one we liked best. We then announced it here (https://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=851.0). :)
Have you ever thought about writing joke royal decrees? :PNot seriously, no. I'm way too serious-minded for that. :P
I don't think I've asked this, and I'm a little leary of checking if it's been asked before.Just searched (protip: clicking "print" give you the entire thread in a single thread that you can then ctrl+f it) and you haven't. :D

Thoughts on koalas?I still remember the first time I learned about Koalas when I was a kid. I was watching a show called Kratts' Creatures (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kratts%27_Creatures) on public television (we only had basic cable, lol), and they did an episode on animals unique to Australia. I thought they looked cute and cuddly then, and I still do. :)
I don't think I've asked this, and I'm a little leary of checking if it's been asked before.1) I got it from Digital: A Love Story (http://scoutshonour.com/digital/). It's a game that's played with interacting with various old-style in-game BBSes, and the sysop for one of them was Wintermoot. I liked it and happened to be looking for a new name, so I borrowed it. As an aside, it's a fun little game, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to kill a few hours.

I know you own a car. What kind is it? Has it been reliable? Are you satisfied with it?Until the end of September I owned a 2013 Kia Sportage...it was pretty basic, but it was reliable. Unfortunately, the service wasn't as great and I traded it in for a 2012 Accura TL when they tried to screw me over (as I believe I predicted they would in SWOYM). It has a lot more stuff like a sunroof, heated seats, and independent temperature controls for driver and passenger side, but there's some issues that we're still trying to get fixed a month and a half later, mostly that the low battery light keeps coming on. Fortunately it's still under complete warranty, so tomorrow the dealership is going to take it to Accura and have them fix it for free, so it's more of a big hassle than anything. Otherwise, I really like it...it's fun to drive. ^-^
