The Monarch's Game Bag is a list of spare Steam keys that I have...either because I already have the game or because I wasn't interested...that I'm willing to give out as prizes to some regional contests, such as the ongoing recruitment contest, or for completing tasks that benefit the region. Being Steam keys, of course it's important that you have Steam to claim any prizes.

@Laurentus I was able to launch and play BioShock as is. Crysis meanwhile turned out to be more problematic, it seems that I'm at a disadvantage with my FX-series processor and while there are vague patches for this, I don't feel like messing my system up with them.

There are often good guides in Steam Community Discussions, from there I found a quick fix for Fallout 3 for example.

(I'm running a FX-8320 and a SLI set of two GTX 460.)

The moment I have to go to such lengths, I just end up never playing the game. I suppose I should dual-boot Windows XP to avoid this problem.

I'm running a 3rd gen i5, with 8GB RAM and a single GTX 970, so hardware is obviously not the problem here.

It's strange that BioShock gives me trouble, as everyone I talk to run it problem-free.

That game was hyped to all fucking shit and got pushed basically everywhere... The dildo bat alone is still pretty recognizable to anyone who plays a lot of AAA games...

Many reviewers hated the game for some reason. I found it to be hilarious, as it made fun of just about every video game convention since the start of gaming.

The penetrator in Saints Row III and the Dildo Bat in Saints Row IV... It did have a bigger role in III but its available in both...
 And the gimps unforgettably use them in IV.
I don't know... I suppose some of my thinking it's not underrated is because I have been forced to play it by more than 10 people because they think it's so goddamn great...
Like a lot of people, at least those I interact with, know and love this game... With its coop for many it is a staple for something to fuck around in... Like... I've just never been a saints row guy... Crass humor isn't my jam... And I feel like I've heard about this game a lot since it came out and I continue to...

For what it's worth, the main reason I decided not to try it is that it didn't include the DLC...Humble Bundle gave this out without DLC and then had a sale on the version with all the DLC, but not the upgrades itself...meaning if I wanted to try it it'd be cheaper to buy the game entirely than just the upgrades. I imagine it'll be the same in future sales too. :P

Gold Rewards are rewarded to those who win the Monthly Recruitment Contest (as was previously the case) or Wintreath's Finest of the Year.

Silver Rewards are rewarded to those who win Wintreath's Finest of the Month, write 2 articles for official Wintreath publications, or gain 1500 recruitment points in one month but don't win the recruitment contest.

You're in luck. Keep reading.

Starting today, some tasks to earn rewards have been lowered to help with civil service!

You now need only 1000 recruitment points (lowered from 1500) in one month to earn a Silver Reward, and completing any two Silver Reward tasks now earns you a Gold Reward (if you don't take the two Silver Rewards). Additionally, if you earn 2500 recruitment points in one month, you automatically get a Gold Reward.

I was a senior in high school when I first started playing it, but it had already been out a few years because I got it as part of a cheap pack of games that also included Tropico and Airport Tycoon...back when they had cheap packs of game CDs at places like Wal-Mart. :P

It's always puzzled me why there aren't more games where you can design your own castle or keep. Maybe it's something that most people aren't enthusiastic about like I am, lol.

Since the Summersend Festival is over and has been moved to the archives, here's a link back to the Summersend Festival Rewards Hut (http://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=4644) for those of you who still have Tokens. Well, why would you own a tennis ball if you hate sport? Maybe you have a dog who likes to play fetch, or you need it for the garage parking trick. It's nice to have games for their potential for fun, or because you're able to have a good experience with it with others. For example, I dislike Terraria, but I own it because my sibling loves it and it's fun to play games with them. I have the FNAF games solely because I appreciate the effort the dude went to in making them, but I wouldn't play any of them.

But to be fair, those are the only two examples I actually have. Most games I want for wanting's sake are like, visual novels I've read/watched people play through and appreciated, like Danganronpa and the like.

The game in mind that I would be interested in, but do not really think would be very fun is TIS 100. It's like a bad joke for a nerd who's WAY too into puzzle games (which I kind of am). Still, the TIS manual is very well done, with a ton of little jokes, fake To-do lists, highlighting, and the entire document looks scanned in. For someone who's interested in NS government simulation, which often requires reading through dozens, if not hundreds of pages of documents, this kind of thing looks right up my alley. But still - would I really play it? Eh...?

@Wintermoot, hmm, that's weird. Is it possible that you were about to send it out and then something distracted you? I checked my PMs, and the only game I seem to have successfully gotten in December was Dark Souls 3 (which, by the way, ruined my fragile ego, you absolute monster  >:().


Edit: But yeah, if you could send it, I'd appreciate it. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, and it's not the end of the world, I can just claim something else and buy CK2 on Steam during the next sale. I was tempted to do this during the summer sale, anyway.  :))
