Welcome to Round 1 of the Holy Faiths Spam Tournament!

Our first match is a much-debated topic, begun by the Great Prophet Dan Quayle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wdqbi66oNuI). What is the true name of our Holy Spud: Potatoe or Potato?

As we have quite a few tournaments to get through, unlike the original game created by Mathyland, these matches will start at 25. Potatoeists can increment the score by 1 when they post, and win when the score reaches 50. Potatoists can decrement the score by 1 when they post, and win when the score reaches 0.

We're not competing! The phrases and concepts are!
Also, people can come and go and not feel intrusive if they want to jump in for a sec.

Edit: Unless you were referring to submitting concepts, in which case nevermind.

Edit2: For no particular reason I want to add that the root of this problem is one we can address next time, if it's a major problem.

There are no signups, anyone can join in whatever team they want, whenever they want.

Though maybe I could've waited longer for people to comment on the seeding.

Seems like this will take awhile before it gets to the round I care about... was there any reason that all 4 in Round 1 couldn't be done simultaneously?

In my experience, when too many rounds of the same spam game go on at once, people start losing interest. This even happens when a second round of a spam game starts up right after the previous one ends, so I'd prefer to take this slow.

Good point, this isn't a real question because everyone knows that it's spelled Potatoe.
