Amendment to the Citizenship and Demonym Act
2. Section 3.1 of the Citizenship and Demonym Act shall be amended to read:
Quote
3.1 The Storting shall have the authority to recognize any previous or current Citizen as a Paragon of Wintreath if it feels the individual has been an essential member of the regional community, has performed an invaluable service to the region, and/or otherwise embodies the principles, values, culture, or honour of the region.

Changes:

*Storing has been corrected to read Storting
*the sentence "or performed invaluable service to the region" has been changed to "has performed an invaluable service to the region" since it's followed by another item and flows better with the replacement of "has" at the beginning.
*This one is me mainly being nitpicky, but since it's talking about the Storting being allowed to recognize anyone past or present as a Paragon, the constant use of past tense hinting at their departure ("was" "embodied") bothers me a little bit.  If we're going to strictly recognize only previous/former citizens, then the past tense in that sense is fine.  But if we're also going to recognize current citizens, then the language should reflect that.  So "was" has been changed to "has been" (it's past tense, but it doesn't reflect that they're necessarily a "former" member), and "embodied" has been changed to "embodies"

Has the minimum amount of time passed for debate? If so, then I motion to vote.

Yes.  In a couple of hours, it'll hit 72 hours.

And I'll second the motion to vote.
