Alcris October Update
Bonjour tout le mond! Guten tag! The following is a message from Alcrisian FA Councillor Awell, delivered by Floy to the embassy region of Wintreath.
With the Halloween season over (leaving less than two months till Christmas!), Alcris has a lot to reflect on for the month of October. With the regional banner on both our NS site and Discord server changed to a Halloween theme, the Community Councilor of Alcris held a fun Halloween Contest for the citizens of Alcris. It was called the Halloween Hextravaganza Creepativity Contest! Participants had to submit some form of creepy writing or photography and the most creepiest would win. We definitely had some goosebumps!
Perhaps the biggest event to have happened in Alcris in the past month was a snap election. The former Foreign Affairs Councilor resigned early in the month, which led to a snap election being called for that position. While quite a few people contested in the election, the WAD Ventus Prime of the Progressive Party and former Foreign Affairs Councilor Awellian Islands of the Conservative Party were the two most popular candidates with Awellian Islands winning by one point. Following the election, around 10 embassies were withdrawn citing inactivity or/and the failure to meet Alcris' Embassy Policy. Moreover, two new embassies were established. Finally, The Midlands was chosen as a new Court Justice.
