Hello, everyone, I just wanted to make a short announcement. From now on, the use of the term ‘Lynch’ and all derivatives thereof shall be banned for hosts to use in creating their games. Any game that uses the term in gameplay by the host will be considered unsanctioned and action may be taken by moderation depending on the situation.
We also strongly encourage players to avoid such terms in play going forward. The term has several historical connotations that could create an unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment for players. We seek to build an inclusive and welcoming Werewolf community and, as such, the continued use of this phrase runs contrary to our commitments and values as both Wintreans and Werewolf players.
This rule will be enforced under Rule 2 of the Werewolf Code of Conduct, which may be found here (https://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=6560.0). Thank you for your time, and I hope everyone has a pleasant day.
